Cold Case Crackers | Murder Mystery Game | The Bloom Gala Case | Can You Crack The Case?

My wife and I play a lot of these types of games and this particular case was wonderful to solve. The attention to detail was fantastic and the steps that needed to be taken to solve each objective were well thought out and the result was a satisfying experience. Some of their competitors’ games are convoluted and don’t make much sense. This game was satisfying because each of the steps was challenging enough without being overly complicated. We have enjoyed each of the cases that this company has put out. They really know how to bring the characters to life and help you appreciate the motives behind the crimes. Other similar game designers lack the structure to provide a smooth process from objective to objective and that is never the came with Cold Case Crackers! Can’t wait for the next one!

We really enjoy the Cold Case Crackers games! It was completely engaging--challenging, without being frustratingly hard. We needed to use the clues once, and they are structured really well so you get a hint without giving too much away. I like that it isn't obvious what evidence to use when (or what you don't need at all). While the activity is structured by what you need to solve when, it definitely isn't leading. We have done a lot of the escape room in a box games, and while we like those, I prefer how solving a Cold I'm actually ordering another one now!

I had a fun few hours doing this case. I think it was a little difficult, but I was able to solve 3/4 stages with the hints. Please note that this can only be played once.

Such a fun game! We loved figuring things out in each step, tip line is awesome if you get stuck. We found it helpful to read the various information and police interviews out loud so everyone could brainstorm together. Super fun puzzles to solve, and really fun writing.

The first 3 phases are intriguing and take time to figure out but ultimately make sense. However, the 4th phase was hard to find the connection between the codes and clues. Also, finding who the killer was, could not be supported well.

This is such a witty and smart game! Our joy and excitement for all. Everyone has the opportunity to participate. Well written and perfectly pitched for all levels! Highly recommend!

I would buy again

I've never played a game like this before! A cooperative game that has the intensity of focus and excitement of any competitive game. You with your family and/or friends work together to solve a mystery. The case takes place in the sophisticated world of art, culture, high society, and murder! Your investigation moves through several phases in which you analyze evidence and uncover clues on your way to discovering which of the suspects is the killer. There are written and oral (recorded) statements, documentary evidence, photos, ancient codes to break. It's super fun and would be a a great gift to give or receive! Very excited to try another of the CCC's! Thank you to the creator of this game!!!
