Appears to be a quality addition for my Cactus soil mix.
I like the fact that when the soil is wet the product turns dark brown letting you know you are watering to much. It stays very tan when dry and lets you know it is time to water. Great product.

An Easy way to Tell if You need to water! & Great for Cactus!
Impressive packaged in heat sealed Mylar Ziplock Bag. Decent Grit size (Small/Medium), I like that when it is WET it is Dark colored and when it is DRY it is Light colored. It feels kind of moist even dry.The bag quantity size is small/medium bag. I think a decent value.I’m kicking myself for not buying a biggger bag. I will definitely be buying this stuff again for my Cactus plants & my more Water Finicky Drinkers!

Great for Rose Propagation – Reduces stem Rot and Fungus Gnats
Firstly, I found this to be the best price of akadama around. I’ve been using akadama soil for propagating roses, and it’s been a game changer and I’ve had great success! Here’s the method I’ve found to work best:1. Place akadama soil in a pot or plastic cup with good drainage holes, then rinse it well.2. Set the container in a small bowl of water to keep the soil evenly moist.3. After applying rooting hormone to the rose cutting, plant it in the akadama soil.4. Place the setup in full sun and monitor the water level regularly.This soil is excellent at reducing stem rot, and I’ve noticed a significant decrease in fungus gnats compared to using other mediums. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to propagate roses successfully!Another plus, this soil can be reused after transplanting rooted plant!

Love the size of this gravel.
Purchased for an additive to potting medium. The color makes a really pretty potting soil and great for a porous medium for my plants. Competitive price and will be buying again.

My wife manages to kill all plants, even cacti. Not sure if it's a curse or a gift she's got, but no plant is left living.
