Updated Review "Work well with Cooper wires"
Time its money!!When installing Surveillance cameras and have to run 100ft off cable you have to cut to have a clean looking job. The problem its that not all cable are solid copper so using regular RJ45 I keep struggling. I decide to purchase this and give it a try. So far I like it I can see the colors in the other end in case one wire decide to jump in the wrong position. If you don't have the right tool to cut the end just pull back the wire and then crimp it. After a small job off 5 cameras this product fail on me. In the past 3 year I have never return to a customer before the 30 day warranty I provide. My last job I have to remove the RJ45 on all cameras twice. Replacing 10 RJ45 plus time and money consuming. I don't want to give up on this product. I purchase the crimp tool from EZ company seem ok tool but for some reason RJ45 fell lose. I will use it one more time if I return before 30 day warranty, this product its off the list.Updated: 1/6/2022Do not used this pass through prong if using non-cooper wire. You will have a lot of problems with signal. The review on top I was using LaView provider cable. "cheap cable" ones I start using Cooper wires I have no problem with this prong. The last couple of year I have not return to a customer because signal problems. Also get a crimp with good quality. I replace my crimp to a better one and working strong. Time is money and this product will save you money and time.

Good price, easy to use, no problems.
Did exactly what I needed it to do. Only Advice: use a good crimper.

Well made, better than load bar type.
I've been searching for the correct and best connectors to use with Cat6a (SSTP/SFTP) Shielded Ethernet Cable. This type of cable has 1.0mm (actually 0.94mm) diameter of individual conductors... that's 1mm measured at the insulation of 1 of the 8 individual conductors. These connectors are a perfect fit for my cable.Load bar style connectors have that separate little piece that is used to organize the conductors within prior to inserting the conductors into the RJ45 connector... it's a kind of a hassle to get to assemble it all, hold it together and then crimp it.With these connectors I just organize the conductors and feed them through until the cable housing is where I need it and then just crimp the connector. Everything stays put while crimping so I don't need to maintain insertion on the conductors, keeping them bottomed out in the connector, while crimping. The 3 prong bite is a bonus and the complete gold plating is comforting to know that it's there.

Works for Me
If I can connect these to a CAT5 cable successfully, you can do it too. I've struggles with other schemes but these work best. I did not even need a magnifying glass to thread the wires into the connector. And I am 76 years old! But I do it by cutting the cable cover back about 6 inches and then threading each wire into the connector one at a time. Then just pull them tight and use a crimper that cut the wires as well.

Gold tipped not plated
These were gold tipped not plated. Looked to be more nickel

They work great with a little learning curve.
Makes making a cable much easier. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to leave a little room to cut off the ends so that they don’t stick out so far they won’t work.

Invaluable for Newer/ Inpatient individuals
I myself am in no way new when it comes to wiring up ethernet cables. When the the ability to thread the wires through the connector to ensure a snug fit without being precise was added, I rejoiced. These particular connectors aren't fragile to the point of shattering when breathed on, and have no connection issues / flashing inside the connector preventing easy installation.

good connectors...
unlike all the other Cat5 connectors i've used, these allow you to push the Cat5 cable all the way through the connector and out a slot in the end so you know the wires are all lined up correctly in the channels, then you cut off the end cleanly and carefully pull the cable back through until it is no longer protruding from the slot... if you pull it back in too far the crimp may not contact all the wires, and also outer plastic covering on the cable may not get crimped leaving you with a floppy / loose connector... if any cable is protruding from the end slot when you crimp, it will prevent the connector from plugging in all the way (to whatever you are plugging it into) and you won't be able to cut it flush with wire-cutters - although you can carefully cut it flush with a razor blade...
