【Brief Introduction】 Daidai flower is a beauty tea and a new star in scented tea. It gained great favor from national consumers because of its mellow taste, rich aroma, and good effects of promoting appetite and dispersing stagnant qi, and was entitled name of "Scented Tea Lady", popular in North China, Northeast China and Jiang-Zhe region. Daidai flower is evergreen shrub. Its fruits of last year stay in tree for the winter, and burst into blossoms and yield new fruits in the next year, and the peel of old fruits turns from yellow to green. Fruits of two generations grow in one plant, that's why it is called Dai-Dai. (Pinyin of Chinese character of "generation" is Dai.) Daidai flower, also called "back-green" orange, belongs to rutaceae family, citrus genus, and evergreen shrub. Its plant has slim long branches, and oval leaves grow interlaced. It burst into white blossoms in spring to summer (April to May), with rich fragrance. Its fruits are in shape of oblate ball, and they are in orange red color in winter, and turn back to green in next summer, that's why it is called "back green orange". Besides, for fruits of different generations grow in tree together, it is also called "Gongsun orange".
