I keep throwing it and it keeps coming back? I don't understand.

I just got this boomerang today. It is as described. The coloration is slightly darker than the photo, but it is otherwise exactly as described.I have not taken it outside to test it since it is currently raining here. The boomerang is also much lighter than I imagined when I ordered. It makes sense to have it light in order for it to fly like they do, it was still a bit of a surprise.The boomerang also has a large WARNING label on the packaging about it not being a toy and can possibly injure. It also comes with a useful instruction manual.

I was looking for my son. He tries several times, but this boomerang doesn’t return! Disappointment! Plus it is expensive for a crooked stick that doesn’t do what you want it to do.

This thing is wild. NOT A TOY! Pretty accurate, haven’t gotten back to me on spot yet, but I think I can with some practice

Apart from nearly killing my grandpa with it, I'd say it works great!

I am an experienced boomerang user and have spent many hours throwing real boomerangs. They fly a distinctive pattern; rising to one side, they turn and circle back, rising and turning over you, and will continue to fly a figure 8 pattern until gravity and the ground intervene.This is a flat piece of wood without the careful shaping of the airfoil on the non-throwing arm. No circle no figure of 8, no return flight. A Total Waste of money.
