There are countless sentences that can be made by rearranging the pieces. You will want to be aware of your student’s (or child’s) phonics abilities while using this set. It will be helpful to set aside particular pieces for use during a learning session or lesson. If you are giving too many it will overwhelm, and you don’t want to encourage guessing. The possibilities with just this box could provide hours of learning opportunities. All of the materials are made to last, reflecting the high standards I expect when picking something from this brand. It’s definitely something that can be used in a primary school classroom!Early Learning- So many ways to play!!! Practice letters and/or sounds with one set. Another set counting or identifying numbers to 25. Shapes with another set. Another set has colors. Enough for 3-4 different stations to be played at one time! Perfect for morning bins, which are a favorite activity in my classroom. The pieces are durable so they can, and will, be enjoyed by so many students. The pieces are also big enough for independent, confident play. I was so surprised how many activities came in one box.*I keep my stations in zipper bags to make them easy to rotate each morning, they do not come in bag like that.This review is part of a Carson Dellosa product review program. This big box of early learning puzzles is the perfect thing to combine learning, fine motor skills, and fun! My young children love putting these puzzles together and we do it part of our homeschool learning time each week. I love how many pieces are included - It keeps them busy for quite a while. They get valuable practice, counting, identifying, beginner, letter, sounds, and working with shapes and colors. The puzzles are high-quality and very durable; They should last me through all three children! Overall, I highly recommend this set.

This 250 piece Big Box of Sentence Building resource is my go-to small group resource for Reader's and Writer's Workshops. The sturdy puzzle pieces are just right size for primary students hands. Students can manipulate the words into sentences - a skill many of my students struggle with during writing. The puzzle pieces are color coded which makes them perfect for teaching parts of speech, punctuation mark pieces so students can correctly end their sentences, and with a total of 250 cards (4 blank puzzle pieces to add your own words!) including sight words, word families, and even digraphs, there are limitless possibilities for sentence building. Using this Big Box of Sentence Building puzzle pieces I am able to help students develop essential knowledge and skills for reading success through a fun phonics game! What I like best about this product is that it saves me SO much time. Not having to prep word cards saves me valuable time that I can now spend working with my students.

It's amazing how in just one game we can work many skills at the same time. This puzzle game has many skills that students after 4 years old need to know. I'm a 2nd Grade student and this is great for my newcomers (ESL) . I can work on vocabulary with them with this game. Game is made from very good material.I love how the puzzles for numbers has numbers and exactly the amount. For shapes, the puzzle has the name and a object with the amount in the back. This puzzle really worth the money

Love the clear pictures on the puzzles. The pictures make it much easier for a child to do the puzzles. First assemble all the puzzles yourself. The whole box would overwhelm a child. Then place several words in a sandwich ziplock. Place all the ziplock bags in the original box for storage. I put 5 words in each bag as I thought that was about right for a 5 year old. I show her the 5 puzzle words completed & then we take them apart & scramble the pieces & she puts the words back together. I think these word puzzles are a great learning tool & a lot more FUN for a child than flash cards.
