the light is strong enough to cook almost like a stove, fast enough for at least 2 adults.the light can move, it's convenient.No smoke at all, we tried pork, lamb and beef, almost perfect.Food under the light has a different color can lead to over cooked, but I think it's just the nature of the light.Best product!Best value too.!

Purchased the first one back in Aug 2018, on Feb 2019, after using it about 5 times, one of the light bulbs burst in middle of cooking, so i had to throw out everything that was on there. I contacted J&R, who said I was still under the warranty so I can get another one free, but I had to pay $26 in shipping to have it sent to me. I paid the $26, I still enjoyed cooking on it, and it really kept the smell to a minimum.. however, 5 months later, on July 2019, it burst again and it didn't work. Rather than contacting the seller again, I just threw it out. This would actually still be under 1 year warranty since it was purchased in Aug 2018, however, I don't want to deal with bursting bulbs. I have 3 kids under 10 and it could really harm someone who's near by while cooking. I DON'T recommend this product

Cooks chicken wings perfectly inside out. The angle of the dish allowed the oil to drain well preventing the food from getting greasy.Not good for steaks as they cook thoroughly and was not able to create a sear.Did create a small amount of smoke but not enough to set off a fire alarm inside or smoke up the dining room.Staring at the cooker for prolonged periods of time strained my eyes because of the infrared light, we had to end up wearing sunglasses to cook.

Food was quick to cook and easy clean up. Great value for what I pad.

Great product for cooking meat for the family. Only con is the oils splatter onto the overhead light, but is only really an issue for cleaning.

This is actually a purchase for my Son who was in Korea with me. I bought one for myself about a month ago and love it. I plan to purchase two more for Sons who also were with me in Korea.It is fantastic for Korean food but I cooked a ribeye steak on it. Seared on the outside and blood red on the inside, just the way these steaks are supposed to be cooked.My Korean wife saw this on one of her tv shows. It is great!!! Can't say enough.
