Wow. Seriously, WOW.
My situation: I had no TV, but have Amazon Prime and Netflix. I live in a pretty small apartment which happens to have a few nice size white walls. I wanted a projector primarily for daily watching, most in the afternoons/evenings. So a workhorse that will last me. Portability was not a main issue, but I wanted something I could easily take to a friends house, or pack with me when I move. For my situation, this projector is AMAZING.The brightness, color, and clarity is stunning. During the day, out of direct light, it is watchable if what you are watching doesn't have too many dark scenes. Otherwise, I can lower the blinds 3/4 and it's totally fine.I place the projector about 11.5ft away from the wall and the image is approximately 8ft wide. It's crazy.Focus: Manual. Very easy.Keystone adjustment: Side to side is manual, and very easy. Vertical is automatic, and handles well so far.Brightness: Any brighter and I think it would be too intense!Sound: The speaker is... sad. They probably didn't want to include one at all, but felt obligated to have something there. You definitely need an external sound source. I connect my Amazon Firestick to the projectors HDMI port, and then my bluetooth speaker to the Firestick. If your speaker has a remote, you should then be able to control that thru the Firestick remote. There is no mic jack or bluetooth to connect audio directly. Weird, but oh well.Size & Weight: It is bigger than I anticipated, but for what it puts out, I've got no complaints! I found a Plano Protector case Series 1404 https://smile.amazon.com/Plano-Protector-Four-Pistol-Case/dp/B000P3WPKK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545514122&sr=8-3&keywords=Plano+Protector+1404 at Goodwill for $1, it works great as a carrying case.Fan Noise: So it's not perfect. The fan does make a little noise, though it doesn't bother me, it is something to note. And yeah the air it pushes out is pretty warm. Might even say it gets hot if you left your hand right in front of the vent. I guess that bulb puts out some serious heat.Internal OS/Software: This thing is pretty much bare bones, so you'll need an external media source. Probably the easiest thing would be a Firestick, especially if you have Prime or Netflix.Cool features: I love that it has an easy lens cover. So clutch. Also the button panel on top can be handy. There is a little retracting stand in the front that drops down maybe 1-1.5in to adjust the height of the picture.Bottom line, for my purposes, this thing is excellent and both me and my girlfriend love it.

Needed a new projector for business presentations
I've owned and used several Epson projectors over the years. This projector is a great value and produces sharp images, with good contrast in a variety of lighting conditions. I mostly use this for business presentations and some videos projected from my computer. Although there were a variety of other lower cost alternatives on Amazon (brand names I've never heard of before), I decided to opt for the Epson quality I've known over the years, both for business and home cinema use. I would recommend this product to others in the market for a projector with similar specs. Setup is a breeze. Comes with a power cord, a VGA cord, and a remote. Epson sells a soft carrying case that specifically fits this unit, and it works well for my purposes. I've only used the HDMI input on the projector, but it also has VGA and USB input ports.

Great projector
This projector has a really great image. It's bright, sharp, and wide and has a variety of inputs. There are options for rear and upside down projection for special situations such as ceiling mounts. The only thing that would make this projector better (for me) is if the focal length were a little shorter. The (more expensive) projector in my office can display a wider image at a shorter distance from the screen, so I'm spoiled. It does have an internal speaker, which is functional, but a little tinny, so I'd recommend using a separate audio system if the sound is critical. I purchased this projector for home use, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work in the office.

Great unit, but not perfect.
I bought this to replace my old Epson 76C that finally died. My initial response was WOW. What an upgrade!! On the ECO setting it was brighter than my old one was on high. The picture quality is awesome as well. I am knocking a star off because after less than 500 hours the bulb started to flicker on eco. It’s fine on high, but the fan is pretty loud. So between the loud fan (On high, on eco it’s barely audible) and the fact that I can no longer use the eco mode with out the bulb flickering, I’m knocking off one star. The speaker is adequate, but I don’t use it as I have a theater system. All in all I don’t think you could do better at this price.

Great projector for the price
Honestly bought this for my college dorm room last year instead of spending $600 for a large tv or using a small one. The picture quality is incredible and it has had many hours and movie nights on it so far. It’s still going very strong. Absolutely love this product and if you’re looking for a basic projector setup this is the one to get. The only thing, get an HDMI switch box to be able to use external speakers and have more than 1 HDMI port accessible.

Plug & play is great. But there's lag
The machine was super easy to get going. Connected to a new Windows 10 laptop via HDMI and it works like a charm. However, there is a lag between the sound (voices) and the images (doesn't match their mouths). I was playing a Netflix movie so I put a DVD into the laptop to see if that corrected it. It did not. Unless I can find a solution, I will be returning this. It was pricey.

Great Quality at a Great Price
After having an InFocus projector for a few years, the bulb finally died so instead of replacing the bulb, I went out looking for a new projector. After being recommended by the school IT department, I went with this Epson projector and I have never been happier. The picture is top notch and the machine is very quite. The only thing that I've noticed is the projector gets extremely hot, although projectors run hot. But overall I am very beyond satisfied with my purchase.
