After my old laptop battery couldn't hold it's charge, I decided to purchase the Ankon battery for my Dell Inspiron 15R. It was a very simple install. I have been using this battery for over a year so far and the battery is still able to hold it's charge. I get approximately 3.5-4 hours on a charge which is great! There's only a very slight decrease in it holding a charge after a year of usage. This product will advance your mobility of your laptop.

I used the battery for 2 months and have not had any problems. Works great.

The battery holds a charge just fine, but it seems to be having trouble with my charger. I have to pop the battery out while my laptop is hooked up to its charger and push the battery back in to get it to accept a charge from my charger. Other than that, though, good product!

Only have it a few weeks so can't comment on its longevity, but so far it's fine, and is a good value for the money.

Update: The problem was my cordOriginal:Battery had 50% when I got it, but it won’t charge. My computer runs fine plugged in without the battery so that leads me to believe this battery is defective

Fit my Dell perfectly, charged fully and holds a charge, used it for several hours before it needed to charge again. No complaints, good battery at a great price.

The battery has been giving me 6 hours minimum backup time.I recommend it for anyone who is in need of a reliable Dell Inspiron 15R laptop battery.Also it important to note that the battery can last even more if the number of applications running per time is minimal
