Utopia Crafts Velvet Lux Chenille Super Soft Chunky Yarn for Knitting and Crochet, 100g - 110m (Dark Olive)

I love to crochet with this yarn.. it creates such soft, beautiful results. Lovely to work with.It does shed a little and doesn’t unpick very well so I’ve had a few breaks so be very gentle with it -but worth it for the finished look. I’d say for the price it’s really nice and well worth a purchase!After my 1st purchase I’ve bought several more colours!

I love this wool, its super soft and fairly easy yo use, like all chenille wool it does fray but I enjoyed making my little crocheted teddies with it. Great for beginners too. It's a nice thickness and a pleasure to use.

I recently decided to start crocheting and this wool works just fine. I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning the fact the wool breaks easily and while that is true. ( as you can see in the third picture.) In the last picture you can see a baby blanket I’ve started ,and I’ve only had the wool break once, And it was my fault. (That blanket was made up of 1 roll of wool.) I haven’t attempted a magic circle yet however I don’t think this wool would be ideal for it. It’s also worth noting that I got 4 lots of wool and they were all different sizes. there’s a good chance some are just more tightly packed but the difference is significant. Other then the issues I’ve mentioned this wool is soft, cheep, and the perfect thickness for me. For that reason I’d recommend the wool if you’re a beginner looking for something cheep and decent. -coming from a 15 year old beginner

Really love this orange colour and chenille yarn is very soft. Only down point is you need to be careful with the ends and chenille fur will fall off easily from the string attached and can get brittle. But overall happy with the yarn for my crochet project.

I started knitting with the yellow I purchased and couldn’t understand how everybody’s wool was falling apart, it felt so lovely and looks beautiful too, only problem is when I ran out of yellow wool I had to opt for white to finish my hat, it just ended up crumbling in my hands, even trying to attach the white to yellow was a struggle, the white would just not stay put and kept breaking all over the place, I’m a tad bit disappointed as you have to buy two of the white minimum and now I have two skeins of white wool that are totally unusable :/

Extremely soft thick wool, great value for money and was just what I was looking for. Quality of the wool is fantastic

As the title suggests it is super soft and wonderful to crochet with. My advice for this yarn however would be to take extra care when starting a project as it is a little fragile/flaky. Avoid doing techniques such as magic ring and go for 2 chain method instead

Update: Had to buy a second sky blue as needed same yarn for the project I was on. I was not happy as joined the second ball and was less than a quarter of the way into the second when the thread ended. It was a clean cut so not a break or something similar. So 1 pack was in 2 halves. Not impressed by the end as not only does the thread break easily, but also the ball was in two parts so required another joining. Not a big issue just an annoyance.Original review:Lovely colour, but just kept breaking up/falling apart when crocheting with it.My fault as not used this type of wool before. So gave 3 stars in case its more the wrong type rather than poor wool. But I would be cautious if using. I used the other types of wool from this make with not as much problems as what I had with this one. (Though still had few issues with breaks)

El material es muy bonito y suave. Fácil de trabajar.

Compre esta lana para hacer peluches y aunque quedaron muy bien, por lo que la textura es muy suave fue un poco difícil de manejar.A menudo cuando necesitaba hacer un poco de fuerza en los nudos se terminaba partiendo y cuando eso sucedía las pellizas de la lana quedaban regadas en todas partes. Me tocaba ser muy sensible con el uso de la lana ya que en distintas ocasiones se me deshacía o se partía.En general quedó muy bonito lo que hice aunque el proceso fue complicado.
