Star Wars Art: Ralph McQuarrie (100 Postcards) Card Book – October 3, 2017

Wow. For 18$ is exceptional. It's amazing Disney isn't charging ALOT more for this. Top notch quality. No flaws, dented corners, anything. I had the Empire portfolio when I was a kid. Pretty cool seeing them again at 45. Even though they are a smaller version. If you are a star wars fan is a must have. Especially for the price. Back of the card has the title of the painting and the date it was created. The Jedi cards don't have a date. But the Star Wars and Empire cards do. Is nice that they all have borders too so you don't have to finger them up. A lot of these scenes were placed into the movies. Is pretty wild, cuz these were created before each film as concept pieces. Mcquarries vision was excellent. Cool seeing early versions of everything. Well worth the money. Great quality.

I would recommend this for every Star Wars & Ralph McQuarrie fan that appreciates the original trilogy concept artwork. Considering that the only way to see many of Ralph McQuarrie's Star Wars concept artwork in hand (not online) is either by purchasing the expensive Ralph McQuarrie Star Wars Art book released in 2016 or buying the (1970's-1990's) original trilogy portfolios or framed prints with film cels through the secondary market, this collection makes this fantastic artwork from a galaxy far far away accessible for every fan. The quality is good, but the colors are not as good as the high quality prints from the 90's. I just wish these were about 25% larger & they would be the perfect framing size. However, for the price of 100 postcards, it's hard to complain about the quality & size, which is still much better than the previous released Star Wars Frames postcard set.

This set features such stunning artwork - it is an amazing value for the price! The card stock is high quality, the print colors are vibrant, and the surface finish on the cards is nice. The container designed to display the cards is also very clever. I cannot recommend this item enough, even if you are merely a casual Star Wars fan - the imagery will light your imagination anew.

Love these cards. High quality reproduction of some OT concept art. Fantastic.Being able to display them on a rotating basis within the box makes a great addition to my desk decor.

I just recently purchased this item for my Personal Collection. Star Wars Art : Ralph McQuarrie 100 Panoramic Postcards is an understatement. This is a definitive selection of the artwork from the Star Wars films created by one of the most respected artists of our time : Ralph McQuarrie. 100 Postcards featuring some of the most breathtaking artwork I've ever seen beautifully arranged in a well designed slipcase with a backside viewing window so you can display each one of your favorite Star Wars scenes while being safely preserved in their protective slipcase. Each scene is beautifully reproduced and reprinted on these Postcards an absolute must for every Star Wars fan and Collector. I love these cards and will cherish them for many years.

I love these cards. The paper is a glorious heavyweight and the print quality superb. I've got lots of McQuarrie prints and these really stack up. The only negative is the packaging: not Amazon's, but Disney/Lucasfilm's. The box has outer and inner components, and the inside one was reversed on mine: so the top few prints were bent inside the box during shipping. Basically one way everything is fully protected and the other there's just a flimsy paper barrier with what looks like a printed ad for the product I already bought. I'm attaching pictures of this, including how it was packed by Disney/Lucasfilm and how it was designed to be packed.

One thing I love about Star Wars concept art is the sense of vastness and untapped ideas that can be spark the imagination, or a fun way to try to imagine what could have been had the movies developed differently. You'll also see the roots of iconic scenes. If you've seen any of Ralph McQuarrie's work you'll know what your getting. These cards are gorgeous pieces and the sheer number included makes it a high recommendation. I love the box they're included in for display, works great.

I am both a huge Star Wars nut as well as a giant Ralph McQuarrie fan. His work is quintessential Star Wars. I thought I had seen all of his work, but there are a few images in this set that I'd never seen before. I love the box it came in also. It's a cool frame, that's easy to switch images! It's not a large, size wise, set. However, for someone (like me) who's running out of display room... it's the perfect size! The images are very well reproduced. They're sharp & clear, with excellent vibrant colors.I literally love everything about this print set. I'm so happy it came up on my "suggested" search. Well done Amazon. Thumbs up.
