Is a good lamp but the charger broke after only a couple uses.

The media could not be loaded.  I often go low on the days when it is dark outside, unfortunately this time of the year our flat it is quite dark, on summer we enjoying shade which is nice but then becomes a dark flat .I weard about this kind of lamps before and was reading about it and apparently it is really helping when you feeling down.After using the lamp I can sense a difference in my mood and my energy level. I prefer the warm temperature option, it has the option to choose from white, natural and warm and with the intensity adjustment it is just perfect for a boost of energy and mood.The SAD Lamp it has a memory function also so no need to set it up again, it will have the same settings from the last time I used it.Along with the lamp and bit of nice music it is a mood booster guaranteed.

The media could not be loaded.  The expectations I have when getting a lamp in general is that I would want it to be aesthetically pleasing. The idea of having gentle light to mitigate against SAD would be the icing on the cake. What is striking upon opening the box is that everything feels low quality. From the cable for charging (plug not included), to the lamp itself. It is clearly plastic and has a low quality and hollow feel. The tactile feedback from the buttons is jarring. I would have expected a subtle soft feel, but it is clunky and hard, with the sensation that it would be easy to break.The light itself has settings for brightness, the first one being a little too bright. The "softer" light colour is hardly soothing.Overall, I am very disappointed. It is priced at the lower end of the spectrum, albeit not much so. Nevertheless, I simply cannot recommend this.

The media could not be loaded.  For anyone that suffers from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), the impending dark mornings and evenings of Autumn and Winter will be distressing. This light may help alleviate some of those symptoms and make these months more bearable.Inside the box you get the lamp, the USB C cable and the instruction sheet. using the lamp is as simple as plugging in the cable to a power source and turning on.The lamp is operated via 3 buttons, an on/off/light warmth selection, increase light and decrease light and that's it.Press the on button and select the light warmth you want (from Daylight, Natural Light and Warm Light), and increase or decrease the brightness dependent on your mood. The lamp is very bright, and will light up a room easily, however the instructions mention having the lamp around 60cm (2 foot) away from your face (and also has a warning about what to do and not to do with the lamp).My only issue with the lamp is that it is "very" plastic feeling, and when turned off there is not a lot of appeal when looking at it, although I guess its not trying to be the Mona Lisa.This lamp may be a good idea if you do suffer from SAD, and is a reasonable price.

In the box is the lamp itself and a USB-C lead to connect to it, there is no plug included so you will need to supply your own.The lamp is really light to hold, very light but it does feel solid, it does not feel like it will break. On the top of the lamp is a middle mode selector button that swaps between colour modes and a brightness up and down at either side, that's it.It goes very bright but because you can adjust the brightness it really helps to increase the lights use. I am working at home a lot at the moment and this will be great to have by my desk to give me that daylight glow while im on a video conference call.The three colour tones are all different and the orange colour gives something a little bit different, it is really handy and quite a powerful light.I can't really fault the light much, it does what is says it should do and nothing more, it is simple and sometimes that's a good thing, it is bright and easy to operate.
