Great Product Easy to Install !
This product is fantastic. Thickness for my garage was just right.1. One Amazon reviewer that made a video on this product used a jigsaw to cut the panels. That was probably the best suggestion ever. I did the same thing and made for clean cuts every time. Little residue was left on the floor from the cuts being made with the jigsaw. See pic of floor.2. As other reviewers noted not all panels on the garage door will be the same size to cut them down to. Take your time, measure twice and cut once. Use a T-square if you have one.3. As another Amazon reviewer noted, you may need for garage door company to come out and re-balance the doors due to the extra weight of the foam panels being added. My double door took on an extra 20lbs using this product and the single door took on an extra 10 lbs. You would never know it because of how light these panels are.Pictures below show the Double door WIP and finished, and a closeup of the double door.My only issue was the price point. Roughly $20 a panel which is steep.Very Happy, Highly recommend!UPDATE: 4/18 - I have been going to the garage on really hot days. What a difference these panels make. The panels are cool to the touch, however you can tell how hot the garage door really could be when you touch one of the "L" brackets on the inside of the garage that makes contact with the front of the garage exposed to the heat. WOW what a difference !!!

Great insulation clean look
Before heading to Costco to buy 10,000 Styrofoam plates to insulate my garage door, I thought I'd look on Amazon. Lo and behold here I found this kit. It works amazingly, easy to install, minus the slight mess made when you cut these to size. Much easier to install than hundreds of foam plate. Great choice to insulate your garage and stay just a little more comfortable.

Good, but read for things you want to know...
My garage door had two different size panels, so I ended up ordering the large ("Commercial") Matador panels, and the (significantly cheaper) less wide Cellofoam panels from Home Depot...thereby giving me a comparison for this review. But first: Out of 3 boxes of this type of material, delivered as three separate orders, every one of the boxes had damage and had damaged panels...so plan accordingly! The Matadore product differed from the Cellofoam in two ways: First, it seemed to bend easier for installation (although being 3" wider as installed, some of that was probably just the extra width. Still it seemed to bend better. Secondly, the Matador product had a slightly whiter vinyl face.I used a snap-off blade knife to cut these, and as I worked I discovered that I could make VERY much cleaner cuts (which meant much less crumbling/mess!) if I made sure I had a very sharp blade, and I PULLED the blade thru the foam in several passes, rather than any "sawing" motion or even any pushing down cutting motion. After a while learning how to do it, I was getting very clean cuts!!!! Score the vinyl with the first pass, cut 1/3 to 1/2 thru on the second (the knife follows the cut vinyl very well) and finish with a third cut...ALL done by pulling the knife thru the foam!Using a temperature reading gun before finishing, I saw about a 6 degree difference between the insulated and un-insulated panels on the door, I added attic insulation above it, and the garage is now holding its' temp quite well.Installing this stuff isn't difficult, but it took me MUCH longer than they might suggest. In my case, my garage door has deep channels to the side of each panel; each of those had a long screw holding the hinges, and those had to be removed before foam could be slid in. I had to cut a small piece for that area, and then a bigger piece for the main panel area. And each panel first had to be cut to the right width. So each panel took over 10 minutes to install: Measure; cut whole panel width, cut channel piece and main piece, remove bolts, install foam pieces, re-install bolts.

Easy to install and reduced the chill immediately
Aside from one panel i have yet to install, I'm immediately happy with this product! It's 8° F today so I used my frigid day off to get this project done and even without the last panel in, it's cut the draft/chill in the garage down drastically. If you have an attached garage and your door is not insulated, you need to get this done! I'm glad I chose this kit because it was really easy to install and it doesn't show my imperfect cuts other than the hack job i did around the weirdo handle. It is a little messy, i got foam bits all over, but it was also easy to sweep them all up.

Wish I had made this purchase sooner
So happy I made this purchase. Installed myself and it took a few hours. Did make a mess with the cutting to size, but it looks fantastic. As thick as this is, I believe it will keep the temperatures better in summer and winter.

Good product but not enough.
Good product, fair price, however you need more than one box to do a full door.
