If your looking for a lightly scented soap that exfoliates without scratching, this may be your answer. I've been using this soap for over six years, and although it seems pricey, I cannot find anything else that matches the perfect level of exfoliation. I use it in the shower and also as a facial soap. I believe the secret to this soap being so perfect as an exfolient is that the particles are very small but are distributed liberally. It's a superb product!

Beautiful soap and perfect rose fragrance. The soap is creamy and lush and feels great on skin. The rose fragrance is just enough to smell when you're washing with it, but not overpowering at all. I don't smell it on my skin afterwards (unfortunately), but it smells lovely in the shower and makes my shower a little more of a treat. My skin feels soft and hydrated afterwards. It's also lasting a very long time. I don't remember exactly when I bought it, but it I think it's been a couple of months and I've hardly made a dent in it.

I’ve been using this soap for over a year now regularly. I’ve used the Lime, Bay Rum and now the Sea Salt. I love these soaps. The Sea Salt is my new favorite for the Summertime. It lathers exceptionally. The scent reminds me of a very fresh laundry detergent. It’s been over 100 degrees F daily here in Texas. My sweat and body odor has gone through the roof. This soap cuts through all of that easily. I’m telling you, this is your summertime soap for the whole family. It’s completely neutral in terms of smell. It’s not feminine or masculine. There are a couple things I appreciate about this soap. It has a nice mild smell and works well. There have also been no complaints or issues with the eczema people in the house. Those are the most important things.The gripes are minor but what I don't like is that the smell started off as--still a mild scent--but came on very strong, through the whole level of the house. It has faded considerably in the 2 months that we've had it, though, and it does not scent your hands, both of which I appreciate. It is a little difficult to rinse off (we have pretty soft water). The packaging was kind of sad and the bar was a bit mangled and had partially melted and re-solidified when we got it, so it was not pretty-looking (it shipped in February in the northern hemisphere, so it wasn't hot during shipping).All things considered, this is a good product and worthwhile, and I would recommend it.

This was the third time I’ve ordered this bar soap made in France. I love the smell and lather of this product. I was shocked when my latest order arrived. Same wonderful smell but the size was 40% less than the previous bar offered at the same price. I went back to the description on Amazon and it said, “Small changes in product size & weight lead to lower carbon emissions.” Doubt that claim and as a consumer will look for a better value.

The soap itself is soft to the touch because it's quad-milled. The lather is very thick and creamy and I don't need to lotion my hands after washing with the soap. The Agrumes scent is a beautiful and bright citrus blend that isn't too sweet; it's a tad sharper and leans into the lime and grapefruit scents, with a sweet edge without being overwhelming. The Persimmon is a bright and warm, juicy and fruity scent with a citrusy smell interwoven. It is strong enough that the scent will fill the entire (small) room even when not in use.
