This would have worked out well for bird prep. I like to keep my own tools, and maintain their cleanliness. However, the lady in charge of bird prep at the University I was attending refused to let me use my own kit. The quality was the same as the one that was provided from the University, and for the most part seemed durable just as their tools. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I assure you it was not an issue with this kit.
