Really awesome and sturdy board. It's our son's first board. Dad has given a try as well and it's awesome. The design we went with is vibrant and super cool. Wheels are all really good and sturdy, grip tape is perfect. Would buy again.

disclaimer: go to your local skate shop first, and ask them to set you (or your kid) up with a good complete for getting started. it will be the best and worth the little more of price. if that is a tough option, this might be good for testing the waters. in my opinion, it's better than a big box store board. ***First Impressions - Will update*** Bought this to skate with my younger brother who has never skated before and not sure if he'll be into skating, plus i was genuinely curious about something from Amazon and this looked like the best option. And also figuring I could modify as needed. PROS: First of all, ignore the "Youth" label in this colorway. It's the same size as the others. 8" x 32" (I haven't measured it but it looks right.) This one has a minimalist trapezoidal pattern which I personally think looks awesome. Grip tape feels good. Trucks and bushings feel solid. Wheels look to be 52 or 53. The wheels seem a bit soft but they're small enough to experiment with and it's winter so they seem fine for the season. I have no complaints about the construction of this board and the hardware. I will have to loosen trucks and tighten screws but no big deal. CONS: My biggest concern is the wheels - and that's not much of a concern. It's winter here in Philly and they're small so I think they'll be fine for a while. The wheels are overtightened (do not spin) so use that decent skate tool they include to loosen them up. I will probably take them apart and see if I can lube them up a bit before replacing anything. Also! appears to have risers, which is cool but seems unecessary for these tiny wheels. the trucks out of the box are so tight with this combo you will never ever ever get wheel bite. I'm gonna leave as is but loose then trucks and may up the wheels to 55 if my brother is more interested in crusing. finally, the trucks seem a bit short for my taste, but i like wider wheels so that may be an issue. def. like!
