Before putting it in water, soak it seperately in water for 1 minute and then fldrop it in aquarium so that fish can easily digest the food also it will help fish in consuming food quickly and avoid water cloudiness. Instead of giving spoon full of food once in a day, give half spoon of food twice a day which will avoid water cloudiness.

Depends on fish size. Yes if it is small, no for larger fishes.
