but made the shelf lean down to much and not be as level as I would have liked. I fixed to problem installing two lag bolts ...
Because I had to cut out area on the back side of shelf so that brackets would be counter sunk I could not attach to stud.The shelf was 48"x10"x1 1/2" made from live edge plank, not to heavy, but made the shelf lean down to much and not be as level as I would have liked. I fixed to problem installing two lag bolts in studs and then cut the heads off so the shelf could slide on. I was perfect after that.
