Nice Simple Recipes
Nice Simple RecipesMany of the instant pot recipes I look up online call for more ingredients than I will ever have in my pantry, but this has so many great recipes without having to make a trip to the spice store.

Good recipes
Many good recipes. Most Instapot cookbooks contain recipes we would never eat. This one is different.

Nutritional Counts Way Off
We just bought this cookbook on our way to Florida, so haven't yet had a chance to try the recipes. I've been diagnosed with renal insufficiency and need to make sure my protein counts are accurate and low. The counts in this book are so far off it's almost malpractice. For instance, a chicken breast would have a total count around 24 grams of protein. A recipe in the book called Lemon and Olive Chicken claims one serving (i.e.: one breast) is 9 proteins. This happens over and over again. I'm very disappointed and it makes me wonder if I can trust other aspects of the book.UPDATE: We're settled into Florida and tried our first recipe: Flavored Pasta. It called for 1 1/2 cups of liquid (water and broth) which was not enough to build the pressure. The pasta was not done and the meal was very unsatisfying. An earlier review thanked the authors for the helpful tables at the back of the book. My book does not have tables. I'm beginning to wonder if some of these reviews are fake.

A Huge Disappointment - Customers Deserve Better
I share the sentiments of many others who have reviewed this ... ahem ... "cookbook." Just a cursory review of the contents reveals that this is not a well thought out product but a hastily thrown together collection of poorly written, poorly organized, often inaccurate and hard to follow recipes with long lists of ingredients, many of which are difficult to find. There is nothing "amazing" about it at all. Other than the glossy cover (if you can stomach the picture), the "book" is not very good quality print. The Table Of Contents is poorly laid out. The recommended amounts of liquids, or the absence of them in some recipes is a concern, as are some of the cooking times. And, the failure to include the method of "pressure release" (quick or slow) after cooking time is done is unforgivable! This thing looks like hurry-up job that just had to be put out there to keep up with the competition. The end product is a huge disappointment. Customers deserve better.Oh! And, good luck looking for the "Free Gift!" If you find it, I'd like to know how you did it, 'cause I looked and, it ain't there!

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She lives alone and when she cooks she still cooks for 6 people! She is thrilled to have something with smaller recipes and they are delish!

Didn't try any of the recipes because 1) they didn't sound very good 2) nutrition facts seem to be wrong 3) nutrition facts doesn't include sodium content which is very important to me 4) directions were not very clear, did not say whether to quick release or not. For a novice when you say "cook on hot" some might sautee rather than pressure cook. Very unclear directions. Was disappointed in this book. I hardly ever write a review but I took the time to write this one.

Douche cover but good recipes
I bought this for a friend who cooks for herself only and we had a good laugh over the cover. Recipes were really good. So don't judge a book by it's cover.
