Does everything right at a great price
Great sound, loud enough. The horns were small enough to fit in front of the radiator on my S2000. All the bolts and parts needed for the installation were provided. A horn relay was provided, but I was able to use the wire to the original horn with a larger fuse to handle the compressor. The hardware was of first quality and designed to make installation in blind areas easy. No wire connectors were provided, so I had to get some push-on connectors. The installation was faster and easier than I expected, by comparison to the last set of air horns I installed over 30 years ago.

Love It!
I've owned a Hella DOUBLE-horn before (without the stock horn engaged) and found that some people still don't recognize the tone, despite being loud enough. I wanted to go bigger this time because some people on the road simply don't pay attention to my factory horn until it's too late. I'm running the triple horn with the stock horn so these 4 frequencies do a great job at providing a full-spectrum and piercing sound that gets the proper attention. Depending how much room you have, 3 horns plus a compressor can be tricky, but they can all be mounted separately (may need some extra tubing).

HELLA 003001601 2-Trumpet 12V Air Horn Kit
The horns are nice looking, loud, and sure get attention. The kit provides everything you need to install except drill bits for mounting. The sound is just like an Italian taxi cab in Europe. The red bugles are plastic which is fine and the little compressor is metal and does the job. You can't go wrong with this HELLA product, because the Company is know for their quality in European and American auto products.

Well built and dependable
Nice horns, bought a cheaper pair first and had several issues with those. Replaced with these and they have been issue free and a little louder. Worth the little extra money to get these vs the no names with their issues.

No switch, no fuse included
The horns sound OK and came with extra small-diameter tubing, which I guess is a bonus? But no fuse is included and there is no switch included either, not that I would have expected it, except that BOTH things are in the diagrams for installation. Oh, and no power wires or electrical pigtails are included either. Anyway, plan on another $15 to $30

Hella pairs horns with lousy relay!
Purchased these to replace a similar pair that lasted me 5 years. I thought it would be a direct removal and installation since it was the same product, but turns out the relay that came with the new horns was bad. Cost me $53 to take it to stereo place to figure out what was wrong. Good economical horns that last a long time but Hella does a lousy job of pairing the correct relay for the installation, let alone one that works. The stereo place installed a 40 amp relay, horns come with a 30 amp.

Nice airhorn!
The Hella two-trumpet horn is a nice product, but not wonderful. It would be good to include connectors with the product as many people will not have them. Luckily I did, so no extra trip to Auto Zone. Other than that, it is well packaged, and the instructions are adequate for almost anyone. I would suspect the unit will last a long time.Installation is not too difficult. This was a replacement for a defective horn in a diesel pusher motor home, so there was really plenty of space up front. I could have chosen any number of locations. In some small cars, space may be limited, but this is a pretty small, and versatile, package. I mounted both horns on a piece of aluminum about 3" X 6" X 1/8" and then mounted the aluminum piece, a good plan in many installations I believe. There was plenty of hose, and it was fairly easy to install. Soapy water helps slip the hoses on. I mounted the compressor and the relay close together to keep the wiring short. I used 10 gauge wire as power in and out, and for the ground. The trigger wire was 16 gauge, coming from the horn button. Pay attention to whether your horn wire is hot (12v when pressed) or negative (grounded when pushed.) There are different instructions for each.Mounted and wired, the horns worked first try. They are fairly loud and have that air-horn sound, but won't blow the paint off of the car in front of you. The sound is a bit high-pitched for my taste, but that is what you get with such small horns. More than just adequate, but less than awe-inspiring. Recommended, unless you want to scare truckers!
