Pacific Coast Signature Underseat 15.5" Rolling Tote Carry-on

As a flight attendant for a regional airline, I needed an inexpensive bag I didn’t have to carry on my shoulder for day trips or overnight trips. I just completed 3 day trips with this bag and it worked just fine. Had plenty of room, fit under seat and in overhead bins of our regional jets just fine.I needed something inexpensive, this is fine. Even crew luggage is only guaranteed for 2 years.... if I get a year out of this I’ll consider it money well spent as it’s better than carrying a tote, plus I love all the pockets.PS. One of my trips was out of ABQ where they have that stone floor at that airport, I was so happy the wheels were not noisy on that floor...Just an update with a photo it’s 4/2022 I’ve used this bag for the last year exclusively as I only fly 1 day trips, I can’t believe how durable it’s been with no issues at all! It’s taken all the abuse a working crew member can possibly give it. Also I’ve had no issues with it fitting under the seat or in overhead of smaller planes. I confess for the money I expected this bag to last maybe 6 months it was meant to be a temporary bag till I accrued my uniform allowance. Apparently it’s my permanent bag, I couldn’t be happier.

Well made and appears to be rugged enough for my use. The inside is very roomy with several zippered compartments. The zippers themselves also appear to be of good quality. This bag is a real value for the price.I do wish it had a strap on the back to fit over the handle of my larger roll aboard bag. The Velcro on the strap that ties the two handles together may wear out at some time, but that's something I can fix.Buyers should keep in mind that this bag pushes the limits of what some airlines allow for a free under seat "personal item." The tags that came on the bag indicate that it qualifies as a personal item on "most airlines." I measure the bag thickness at almost 9" including the wheels. (see photo) The limit on Spirit is 8" and it's only 7" on Allegiant. The Allegiant site specifically mentions that their bag size limit is to include wheels and handles.I will be using this on both airlines and will take my chances. If you do the same, just be aware that some airlines might charge you extra for it.

Good quality and a lot more room than expected

Took this to Hawaii, last week, with connecting flights.Pros:Slides under seatVery roomy. I actually packed extra clothing in it with shoes, toiletries, etc.TSA check goes fast even if they have to open it because the front flap can unzip completely open exposing all contents but without spilling because of the mesh separator.Rolls easily. No more sore shoulders and back going through airports!Cons:Stacking on top of a bigger luggage can be a bit cumbersome because the 2 weights combined gets too heavy for one hand to pull along.If you end up in the middle seat. You will find extra plugs/electrical outlets that will eat up a few inches of space under the seat, so it took me pushing a little bit to squeeze in the bag but still fit.

While the size to fill for traveling is fine (It is the same as the bag without wheels), the handle/ wheels adds extra unnecessary weight.

This bag meets the size requirements for Spirit Airlines. The main compartment is huge. The side pocket holds a sizable water bottle. The inner pockets are perfect for holding incidentals. The wheels can take a beating as well as the handle. I have faith that this luggage will last a very long time given the construction. I will follow up if it doesn’t meet expectations, but I highly doubt it.

Love that this bag has a top entry packing area. It means I can add and retrieve items when I am in the airport or airplane much easier than a bag where you have to lay it flat to pack and unpack. Held up well to a cross country airline trip through several airports. Very happy with the bag - only wish it came in other colors beside black.,

Overall a nice bag. I flew Frontier and United, the bag counted as my personal item on each flight, and even very full, slid under the window seats with out any problem. The bag is burgundy not red, I actually like the burgundy better than the red, but beware if you are expecting a red bag this is not a true red. I was able to pack for a 4 day trip including a heavy fleece jacket, leather jacket, and lots of other layering pieces and a couple pairs of shoes, you just have to be efficient packing! Front pocket worked great for my ipad and spare battery, and other front zipper pocket held my liquids, this makes it super easy to get through security with out opening up the large pocket of the bag. The side pocket was great to hold my wallet and keys, since I didn't have my purse. My only concern with this bag is the handle is already loose after one use, I am a frequent traveler and hoping to use this on my monthly flight, however I am a little skeptical the handle will hold out long!
