Acer ED322Q wmidx 31.5-inch Curved Full HD (1920 x 1080) Display (HDMI, DVI & VGA Ports),White

This was my experience with HDMI connected to a laptop. Review of the 31.5 inch monitor.Whenever I turn on the computer it takes several attempts of turning on the monitor for it to actually display anything other than a black screen.The display lags. LAGS. I can play a video on YouTube or Twitch and on my laptop the video will be playing smoothly but on the monitor, it'll freeze after a few seconds. Only when I move my mouse over the video will it resume playing (from where it is currently, not from where it froze). When I stop moving my mouse, it will freeze again after a few seconds. Obviously I don't want to move my mouse constantly to watch anything.I play some League of Legends and the frame rate will be super choppy while silky smooth on the laptop. The frame rate is sync'd to 60 due to the refresh rate (and this laptop by itself can push 150+ FPS on League) so there's no reason it should be so choppy. The frame rate in the game itself does not drop below 60 FPS yet still turns choppy so it's definitely the monitor.The inbuilt speakers for the monitor are so bad it's not even worth reviewing BUT whenever I put my computer to sleep, the monitor will do some sort of muffled "boompf" from my own speakers that are connected to the monitor. It's not loud enough to give you hearing loss or anything but it is noticeable and I worry that this garbage fire of a monitor may actually be damaging my speakers whenever I turn my computer off.My old 32 inch TV was in every single way better for gaming than this gaming monitor. Perhaps this monitor would do better on a desktop PC (mine isn't here at the moment so I cannot test it) and may be better with a VGA/DVI port instead of HDMI but my laptop doesn't support it.Do not recommend. Save your money and time (and possibly your speakers). Will try to get a refund for this useless screen.

I'm not gonna lie at $200 for a curved 32" monitor I knew what I was getting my self into. You know the old saying "you get for what you pay for" well this is the pure definition of it. Don't get me wrong design is beautiful but the colors are really washed out even after changing every setting possible. I put this side by side with my Sony 4K 43" 800D. Forget the resolution cause I know this acer is 1080p but the monitor wasn't even close to the colors on my friends Sony. We tested about 10 games on an Xbox one s and PS4 pro. Sound is also abysmal on this monitor as well your gonna need external speakers. I'm noticing now on the bottom center of the screen about 4 dead pixels are starting to appear on bright scenes... never saw them when I first turned it on. Monitor is sub par at best.

Monitor has really good quality for the price. There is noticeable light coming from the bulbs in the sides of the monitor when the screen is straight black. The power/menu button/toggle stick on the back is in a awkward position and is infuriatingly difficult to simply push to turn it off.

I bought this monitor for a second monitor and I bought the 32in version. I didn’t expect such an amazing monitor for such a low price. I am ordering another one right now. This monitor is so amazing, the colors are extremely accurate, it’s fast, pixels are clear and it just looks so good! So I recommend to stop looking at other monitors and just put this in your cart.

The whites are a little off. I cant find the drivers for the monitor. I went to the Asus web site, and its not there. Windows 10 picks up the monitor as a generic monitor.

Really nice for the price.

For the price this is a great monitor for gaming, I had to make adjustments with my NVidia graphics card to smooth out lines and shapes. The monitor arrived in perfect condition in the original packaging.

Needed a monitor for work and this works great.

Bought this as an Amazon Warehouse Deal. Monitor was broken. It had a constant yellow line down the middle of the screen. Returned. Overall it looked great where the screen was not messed up. Speakers didn't sound too good.

Meets description. Not the best picture but price is right.

I bought two. One worked, the other developed a discoloured line within a week. I returned it and got a new one. The new one developed the same issue. So two out of three had this problem and did not last a week. On this basis I strongly recommend looking at another product. The price was attractive to me, but now I think that 'good' price was likely set to reflect a bad batch with a display problem. Just a theory, I have no proof.
