Works as advertised
Received this motor days before I was supposed to! Excellent. Watched a u-tube video and I was off and running removing and installing the new motor. It was very different from the original that came with my pool installation. I had called and spoke to customer service at Century before ordering so I knew this was the correct motor. Anyway, all went well when installing then connecting the 4 wires. It took like 10 minutes for the pump to prime so of course I thought there was a problem, there wasn't. The only thing I dislike is the ventilation on the backside where you can see the windings of the motor. Insects, geckos, dirt from wind and the elements can all get inside. At $400 bucks, I feel it should be better designed.
