The SO Art Deco ornate open work pot metal setting feature rich sapphire blue baguette cut crystal rhinestones and small round cut clear pave rhinestones encrusting the rest of the piece. This exquisite jewel has been mounted on a high quality silver plated comb base and measures 2 9/16 inches (6.4 cm) wide by 7/8 inches (2.34 cm) high. I was SO excited when I found this jewel. It's very tough to find authentic Deco era jewels with sapphire stones. This one could be right out of "Downton Abbey" and is even more beautiful in person!. The dress clip used on this comb is in excellent vintage condition with all stones present and bright. Though still so full of sparkle, the jewel has mellowed just a tad creating that softer authentic antique look and feel that can only be achieved with age and not replicated by the new vintage "inspired" pieces. The jewel has been mounted at a slight angle to the comb base so that the hair can slide underneath to the top of the comb keeping it secure. Perfect for your Art Deco or Vintage wedding.
