Great blanket. Not lightweight, but warm and cosy. I use at at base camps. Wouldn't take it on long treks as its a bit heavy. But use it around the house too. Well worth the money.

They're fabulous because they can be stowed in the sack provided and still be compressed further. The uses are endless, they have securing tabs at strategic points that allow the quilt to be pegged to the ground for sitting on or draped over the shoulders on a chilly evening in the garden/camping. If you like to use a hammock the quilt can be fastened to the outside of the hammock to provide some well needed insulation on the cooler days or simply placed in the hammock and lie on it directly. The quilt can also be rigged using a ridge line to provide insulation over your hammock for those that like wild camping :-)It's great to carry in the car especially if you have experienced being trapped on motorways in the snowy season!! I keep one in the boot of my car.

I bought this with the intention of using it as a replacement for my DD underblanket as it is lighter and packs thinner if not smaller.I actually like it so much i've been using it when sitting around the house if i feel cold. (Not sure what that says about me...)As for its use outside exceptionally warm and comfortable I cannot however say what how it behaves when wet.As a replacement for an underblanket it seems like a good fit so far i think some extra stitching to tighten it up around the base of the hammock it will do the job as well as the DD one for 200g lighter and ~£20 cheaper.

Quite good, could have been thicker

I bought this item to be used as a light blanket as well as a poncho liner, and I am certainly not disappointed. Although quite thin, the poncho liner is quilted and provides a surprising amount of insulation against the cold. I have used this as a blanket like cover while hammock camping and I was very comfortably warm.I would recommend this to anyone who goes camping whether in a tent or hammock. Well worth the money.

A great item, nice down to about 15 deg C. I originally got it for summer camping but it has become a favourite round the house and garden: I really like it. It can be stored in the bag it comes with, but for outdoor use a compression sack is helpful.

Had one previously brought from an American base PX. This is the genuine article and exactly the same. A great piece of kit for picnics, camping or just to throw over yourself.

Fantastic, really warm and lightweight, really surprised at how it traps the heat. Well worth the money.

I'm former Military and had a poncho liner for years and gave it to my great nephew (one month old) so I replaced it with this product. very happytake care Bill
