Cheap Hi-Fi unit if you have some spare Speakers and some patience!
The Wingoneer Mini Bluetooth Stereo Unit suits own my personal needs. This is the second cheap Chinese made amplifier I have purchased through Amazon and so far they have made a real difference to my music listening pleasure. First of all you have to realise what you are actually buying, and that is they are cheaply made hi fi units and are not aimed at the performance or build of the Hi Fi quality levels of the top named brands. But if you have some spare speakers and some patience you can achieve some good results from one of the cheapest and nicest sounding Hi Fi units on a low budget.I connected a pair of fifteen year old 6 ohm Sony mini hi fi speakers going unused from a broken Sony HI Fi unit. Bluetooth is the main feature why I purchased this unit, it's so flexible and lets me connect within seconds through my Android phone, connection is named as 'HY - Bluetooth'. I have the installed 'Equalizer Music Player Pro' on my phone as this is a versatile android player that allows me to set the Left and Right speaker balance, a music equaliser for your own personal settings and loads of different presets like Rock,Pop,Jazz etc. For me the sound produced is very acceptable and a lot better than a cheap branded Stereo Hi Fi unit. The Wingoneers built in bass and treble knobs also give the option of more personal listening settings. The knobs are precise and smooth in operation but the volume on/off knob is labeled back to front and needs dry hands to switch on and off as there is a resistant click to power the unit on and off.The FM radio is very basic and tuning and selecting radio stations is best achieved by using the tiny remote control by typing in the station settings in manually. Honestly It's not great, so I just have one staion set (Radio 2) this is the strongest signal station that I can receive. I had to rig up my own flexible aerial to receive a decent signal as the onboard extendable aerial was not up to the job, there is still low background radio hiss so I tend to use as an alternative input using the android 'Tune In Radio' player app which through the bluetooth connection is excellent sounding and with no hiss or interferance at all, plus I can choose from thousands of radio stations from around the world.I have used the SD card and USB stick to play back mp3s. They play in order but you can't select different folders so you have to set up your own playlist, you can select songs with the remote if you can remember the order they are listed in. The front 3.5mm auxillary input lets you connect with a cable if you want, that is if Bluetooth is not your prefered choice of connection. Now the famous mentioned 'Flashing Lights'. My unit is in the kitchen window and now in winter time i find them amusing to watch, they have no practical use or relate to the music that is playing in any way. If you want to remove them you can disconnect the cable inside the unit, but don't forget this will void your warranty!Overall for the £18.00 I paid for the Wingoneer hi fi unit I think is money well spent. If it lasts over a year it's served it's purpose and will be a bonus. Its not going to set the world on fire but the sound that comes from this tiny hi fi unit with my particular speaker set up is more than amazing for me.

Blinded by the Lights!
So I bought this for my van, thinking it would be a nice amp for music over Bluetooth and I could plug my stereo aux out into it for a nice second set of speakers while driving. The first thing is I could find no mention of bluetooth in the instructions, which were minimal to begin with. I was worried at first, however it's hardly a complicated device and after pluging it in and pressing the mode button I was ready to pair.Sound quality is OK for what it is. If you're streaming Bluetooth you're probably not looking for audiophile quality anyway. With a set of JBL Control 1's it gets loud and stays pretty clear. Pretty much ideal for it's intended purpose. One gotcha is that not only does it not come with a power supply, which is expected, but it also doesn't come with any way of wiring it in. I found an appropriate connector on an old adapter, cut it off and used it. If you don't have one you'll have to order it.Another gotcha is that if you are mounting it, the mounting lugs are at the bottom of the case. I suspect it could be opened and rotated 180 in the case, but I imagine that will void my warrenty. Finally the big ones. The LED's are insane! They follow paterns, but the chosen pattern is completely random and not syncronized with the music. The paterns rotate regularly to add to the mayhem. They are also very bright and you won't be doing any sleeping in a room with this thing on. I'm going to try putting some black tape over them. Perhaps a couple of layers. Then once I'm out of the return window I'll probably open it up and disconnect them. If I do I'll see if it can be changed to the other way around in the case as well. All these sort of units seem to have the lights, so I wouldn't shy away just because of that. Overall for what it costs this is very good. Once the lights are gone it will actually be a bargain.

Low output
Wanted it for the blue tooth facility. It is a brilliant little amp but as other reviewers have said the output is very low. Need full volume on all inputs to make it useful at all. I mean you can just hear it reasonably at full volume.

Perfect for a caravan to provide Bluetooth streaming and boost your LED TV's wimpy sound
Astonishingly cheap. Conveniently small. Absolutely perfect for a caravan with direct 12V input. No fans to break the silence. The sound quality isn't going to rival a decent hi-fi separate amplifier, but it is really quite good enough to lift a modern television to perfectly acceptable quality with the addition of some half decent speakers. The Bluetooth works very well, with track controls and very easy pairing. The flashing lights are completely intolerable, but easily disabled as the lighting board is a separate item easily unplugged if you dismantle it carefully. If you are insane, you could always plug the board back in again. No digital input. Shame the remote is infra red, as it would have been nice to mount it inside a cupboard, but what do you expect for £20?

WOW
I’ve had this plugged in for a few hours and I feel the need to write a review already. Basically I needed a cheap amp at short notice for my new record player I was getting Christmas Day until I could sort something else out. It arrived after 2 days and when I plugged it in to my CD player and I was blown away with the sound quality as it was crystal clear, I only have a small living room but it sounds great with my 4 speakers. It’s well built with Bluetooth and an FM Radio, it’s compact and easy to set up. The price way very low so I don’t know how long it will last but for now I’m sticking with this.
