Useful, but the two sided design is irritating. If you attach using the hook, the crocodile clip tangles the thread and vice versa.

Ever washed a zip-up fleece and found that the zip goes all zig-zaggy? Just hang a couple of these on the bottom of the garment while it's drying and the zip will dry straight.Likewise t-shirts that go a funny shape, or curtains that shrivel up. Just place a few of these weights on the item as it dries.I think they are supposed to be braiding hair, but they've got much better uses than that!

I used the 1.6 Oz (45g weight first) but for anything heavier than fine cords it helps to have a small heavier weight. There is a hook on the other end (not shown in the image) so you can add more weight or use the loop to hang the weight rather than the clip. You may want to put masking tape over the unused fastening to avoid any tangles.

Good weight might have to get smaller as well but this I needed for heavy cord.Does not stop my hands hurting but that is what the pain killers are for.What more can I say .

I purchased this as a Set of three items. The heavier weight , this one and the bobbins which I am still waiting for. I want to learn to do Kumihimo so this weight's will help to maintain the correct tension. I am excited to have these items now !
