Bought this as it was a must for our son’s school.
Never actually purchased or read a bible before but this was essential for my son’s secondary school. He seems to find everything he studies for in RE (as they called it back in my day) no complaints.Good price, good size, highly recommended

King James bible
Regardless of what religion people believe in, I've found that the king James bible is always the one people come back to. I've looked into many different religious backgrounds and have noticed that this book has many routes. So it sits on my book shelf. 📖

Arrived a little scuffed
Came with some marks on the front so if it's going to be an issue for you definitely invest in a hardback copy. Fine otherwise.

It's a vegan bible
Ahhhh I love it. It's great to have this one as no animal had to suffer to produce it. Font style and size are easy to read despite the cream paper and it has a special place at the moment, right next to my pillow. I have an antique of KJV that is leather bound from my late grandpa. I just wanted my very own...new bible. I like the black bound bible with it's gold letters on the front giving a formidable stance and a force to be reckoned with for any-would-be hidden spiritual entity silly enough to approach me and that is before it opens to a world of wisdom, I have seen the bible has a lot of power when applied correctly. Why did I chose the KJV rather than the other versions is that it highlights that the UK is a Christian Country with a Christian Monarchy, so very important in the times we live in! I would recommend this Seller, the book arrived in mint condition and on the appointed time on Sunday with prime. Thank you Amazon for making it possible. Bless you

This Book is dangerous!
This book must be dangerous! It has been banned,burnt, besmirched, but still remains the worlds best seller. This edition is a fitting tribute to it's enduring power change lives. In its pages is contained history,wisdom and powerful spiritual insight. The central character throughout is Jesus Christ. He is alluded to in he Old Testament and revealed in the New. The majesty of the language in this edition reflects the majesty of the Lord Jesus, adding to the wonder of the life, death and resurrection of our Saviour. The Book retains its transforming power even in our post Christian generation. It cannot be too highly recommended.

Good value - just a shame paper- and not hardback
Very readable indeed with exceptionally elegant and clear font. This is indeed the KJV Bible but has been skilfully reset in a continuous paragraph format without any intrusive troublesome notes or commentary.But UNLIKE the Cambridge paragraph bible edited by David Norton this version does NOT simplify and regularize the original spelling and - importantly - retains the italicized words of the original ( these were never meant for emphasis but were rather to show English words had been supplied for clarity that did not appear in the Hebrew + Greek.)A nice copy and as I said in the heading such a shame the edition is not hardback - because it's a huge paperback that will have to be handled carefully!
