Perfect, luxurious, divine.
I absolutely LOVE everything about this product. The smell firstly sets it apart, it is truly divine. I keep it in the kitchen and even when other people wash their hands the gentle natural smell if fresh lavender wafts around, even the kids comment on how lovely it smells. We use it watered down too in a sensor dispenser and it’s perfect. It is highly concentrated so at first you think it appears expensive but when you see how little you need to fill the reservoir at 1:4 ratio with water, you know it will last for ages. It is actually better value than all those cheap 500ml for 99p in the budget stores and the quality is divine. The nice creamy lather is rich and non-drying. I literally cannot fault this or praise it enough, everyone comments on how delicious it is and I’m buying more dispensers to use in the bathroom and utility room.

Use it for EVERYTHING
Oh, Dr Bronners, how I love thee. You clean my house, my body, my baby, my car. You smell delectable, not like a nasty chemical spray. You can be diluted so you last ages. You don’t cause allergic reaction like so many other chemical cleaners.

Absolutely wonderful product, a 5* brand
This is a review for This Lavender Organic Castile Liquid Soap 946ml. By Dr Bronner. an FBA item @ £16.99 as on 01/11/2016.This bottle came in a cardboard box (Recyclable), with other items. The bottle itself has a seal under the cap.We have bought this soap for a while now, but this is the first time we have tried the Scented variety. Having now used it, i've got to wonder why it is we never tried it before. This is shear decadance for anyone like my wife and myself, who love natural products. The smell is absolutely gorgeous and the lather it creates is fabulous. It's that good, that my wife has asked for a bottle of the Rose fragment one for Christmas. I agree and i have asked her for a Citrus one too.All the ingredients are of Natural origin and the liquid is fragranced with essential oils. Of course the bottle is made of plastic, but once empty, it can be used again and again. We both use this mask of Castile liquid soap for everyday use and in so many things too. Check it our on the internet. There is No down sides to this product and i fully recommend it. It's great 5*You can check out my other reviews by clicking on my name BRIAN WOOD at the top, you may just find something your really looking for..I really appreciate you taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it a help, in making your decision of wether to buy or not. Thank You

Best face and body wash
Dr Bronner's liquid Castile soap is excellent value for money. It lasts ages as a little goes a long way. This review is for the lavender fragrance but I use all the fragrances, the rose and the lavender ones are my favourites. In the bath I soak a flannel in warm water and then add a few drops of the liquid soap. I dab it over my face and then place the flannel over my face for five minutes. It's better than any facial that I have paid a lot of money for in the past.It cleans the skin without drying and smells divine. The musings on the label are well worth a read!Suitable for vegetarians.

Earth-friendly but not dread-friendly!!
First impressions: I could tell this was certainly different to 'normal' chemical soaps and shampoos. For one, the bottle was not a common layout and was brimming with interesting stuff to read: feel-good quotes, a 'psalm of life' and other life passages alongside its long list of uses and health-conscious ingredients. The thickness of the soap is on the runny side, but this didn't take long to get used to. I was surprised at how well it lathered up still, unlike previous 'healthy' soaps that have lacked in this aspect. The smell is amazing - it smells just like real lavender and not at all synthetic like other soaps I've had!!I had mainly bought this soap for my hair as I have half dreads and half normal hair - I desperately needed something that could accomodate both (I usually have to wash separately with different soaps/shampoos). Whilst I have used them once on my dreads, which I was relatively happy about using - my dreads felt clean and somewhat soft. However, I soon found out that Dr Bronner's is not as residue-free as was previously recommended by others and have since been warned against it for dreadlocks!! So please beware other fellow dreadheads looking to get this! For my normal hair, I was a little disappointed when I used it. It left my hair feeling dry, tangled and wirey - a bit like when you accidentally wash your hair with body wash (am I the only one who's done this?!). I have since learnt that this castille soap is recommended to be used diluted with water and followed by Dr Bronner's hair rinse. However, this then becomes quite an expensive solution to wash my hair with! I may give the hair rinse a try but feel this is now useless as I am unable to use it for my dreads now. May just have to go back to my bicarb soda and water wash followed by an apple cider vinegar rinse. After the wash, my hair felt a little scummy - I was worried I maybe had not thoroughly rinsed it all out? So next time, I diluted the castille soap more and my hair felt soft and clean but definitely different to how my hair had felt with previous 'commercial/mainstream' shampoos - a little more wirey and tangled (like an unconditioned state, which is to be expected).Despite this, I did notice my hair didn't get as greasy as it did before with 'commercial/mainstream' shampoos. Also, I had developed a dandruff problem last year due to stress and was recommended to use Head 'n' shoulders, which exacerbated the problem loads!! Dr Bronner's appears to have controlled my problem considerably (although not completely). Not sure if this is simply due to changing shampoos as I have heard that this can temporarily help dandruff problems - will report back!Overall, I am undecided with how I feel about this castille soap. It definitely takes some getting used to. It is quite expensive, although the bottle is huge and can see it lasting a long time as a little does seem to go quite far (I guess depending on your uses and needs). However, I am unable to use it for my dreads, which is what I had originally planned to do and therefore am very disappointed to have to go back to washing my dreads and normal hair separately with separate shampoos, despite paying quite a bit for this.Nevertheless, the castille soap can be used for a vast range of uses (body, laundry, dishes, all-purpose household cleaner, apparently toothpaste!, and lots more) and therefore I do not feel so gutted about it - it will in fact be ideal for when I go travelling next month for a year as I can use one bottle for pretty much everything (other than hair). Also, it feels good to not be using a chemical detergent and something that is versatile, biodegradable and earth-friendly :)
