Digimon Adventure: The Complete Original 1999 English First Series

The shipping was slower than expected, BUT I got it without any breaks or tears to the cover sleeve or the DVD box itself! Childhood dream achieved and will be placed next to Digimon: The Movie on my shelf <3

Loved digimon as a kid growing up and when I heard about the blu ray season 1,2 and now the movie and them staying true to the original English dubs and including the OG music, I had to grab them and the team put so much love and attention to these Blu-ray’s to give the fans a great viewing experience!

These digimon made my dad humor laugh, made me feel the tears, and is more mature than I remember as a kid which used to go over my head. This is a top tier and my personal favorite digimon season out of the 4.5 I’ve seen. The bluray is like rewatching it on a crtv and showed me new episodes not previously on youtube completely if at all. I got lucky and decided to give this a try after having had the show on vhs and youtube. Better quality than my memories.

I own both the DVD set and Blu-Ray collection. The sound quality on the DVDs sounds like a mic was in front of TV speakers recording and the video quality is low. Almost no quality at all. But the Blu-Ray's sound is very clear! They've smoothed out the animation for the Blu-Ray as well. There was zero issues watching it on a 94 inch screen. I genuinely loved this show as a kid, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the episodes on these.

This season will always be a childhood favorite of mine. Glad they made it in Blu-ray. 🥲 Can't wait for the next seasons in Blu-ray.

Digimon Adventure Blu-Ray is awesome! It has the best HD quality as it was new!

The media could not be loaded. Not sure if its because they transferred from the original DVDs or the software they used to convert it to HD. But if you don't mind the finer details getting blotchy or disappearing entirely in the background this is a great set.It's worth owning for fans of the original English cut of the show. As well as supporting physical media.

Thank you to Discotek Media for bringing Digimon to HD Blu-ray! The picture and sound quality are absolutely amazing. I've already pre-ordered Season 2 of Digimon from Discotek Media and I eagerly await its arrival. I hope Discotek Media will release the remaining seasons of Digimon both the English and Japanese versions soon!
