Q: Does this product contain alcohol(ethanol) ?

Thanks for your question. We're committed to alcohol (ethanol as you very correctly said) free products and hence, our beard wax doesn't contain alcohol. It's an oil based product with carrier oils, butters, waxes and essential oils in its ingredient list.

Q: Will this sort out my spikey beard? also do you apply this daily?

Yes. That's the aim: to put in order spikey/untidy beard. I apply it in the mornings, especially if they are really messy.

Q: Does it allow water to penetrate through it, once applied? Prob a technical question for the seller this.

Seeing as it is wax, probably not. But it is better to ask the folks that make it.

Thanks for your question. The particular wax is meant to be used for shaping your beard while it conditions it and gives a stronger hold than a balm. So, it's really up to how you feel sleeping with the wax on your beard and it also comes down to the amount of wax you apply. That said, it washes out easily with shampoo.
