Gold lion tubes 12ax7 and 12at7
Replaced the stock psvane tubes in my ART solo MPA and ART solo VLA (preamp and compressor) and all i can say is wow! I have not burned the tubes in yet, just tested for functionality so far, but instantly it made the sound, only what i could describe as, “cleaner” and more distinct, with a whole lot more warmth. Silky smooth comes to mind. Let me say though the Psvane stock tubes did not sound bad at all, they have a distinct punchiness to them that i could see being maybe better suited for guitar and drums, however for vocals which is mainly what i will be recording i would recommend the gold lions hands down for that smooth and creamy vintage warmth. Also reccomend the seller tonal tubes. They understood the nature of the product packaged it carefully and had it delivered two days ahead of the estimated time. Excellent seller excellent product!

Dramatic Improvement to My System
I only have experience with these Golden Lion, so I can only compare them to my stock tubes on the Muzishare X7.Of all the tubes I've rolled on the X7, I think these 12ax7 tubes made the most difference (the rectifier was also significant in that it sounds like the drivers moves faster with tighter control). The most obvious improvement was it sounded like there is db gain. All other aspects were not subtle either. The soundstage grew, details are more prominent, and just more dynamic sounding overall. On my system tube rolling produced some of the most dramatic improvements of all the cables and electrical upgrades.

It is an amazing tube for sure
Bought this to try out in the v1 slot of my Bugera G20. It is an amazing tube for sure. The pins seem larger and the tube takes a bit more effort to seat, but wow, the tone difference is so obvious with this tube. The immediate difference in tone and color that it brings made me chuckle a bit. From this point forward, I can't go back to the other $25.00 (and cheaper) tubes. This tube replaced the 12AX7 mallard that is sold here on amazon, and although that tube was really great too, it couldn't hold a candle to this Genalex. I am always inclined to call foul on the "snake oil' that is sold to guitarists, but this is the real thing - It's all there. If you are tone-chasing but don't want to spend crazy money for new-old-stock, then this is the tube for you, bar none. I also used this with my recently-purchased Orange Micro Dark Terror. That amp is a single-tube amp head and it is easy to swap the tube out for comparison. Once again, this Genalex was the proven champ and there was no comparison after that. Whatever this company is doing with their tubes, it is working. And while I have your attention, the Orange also proved how bad the electro-harmonix tubes are. Noisy and devoid of any character, those electros! Genalex all the way.

Good tube, good customer service by Frontline Audio.
I put this in my V1 and V2, of my well modded Jet City 50wt head. The tonal change is noticeable, over the stock generic 12ax7b's that came with my amp. More so over a long plate JJ, too. For a do all pre amp tube, this is it. Tungsol 12ax7 Russian's are musical, but really high gain. They may generate way too much gain in certain amps. Like mine, or 5150/6505s.I initially had a problem with my order, as the item description is kinda vague, but does say gold pin. So I was expecting a Russian tube. I got a Chinese tube. I complained, took a picture and pointed out how the Chinese tube isn't a gold pin. I shipped it back, for replacement, in better packing, as the older packing may have seen it's use(Ok all shipping boxes we get, are turned into kindling, so I had nothing better to return ship). So I was expecting one. To my surprise I unroll the better protected new tube, there's two, not one. And they're matched, meaning someone took their (trained and skilled) time with many of these on a special machine and sort match them. Oh. Wow. This is above and beyond. They backed themselves up in correcting the issue I had. I checked old emails and sure enough, they told what they would do. Then they just issued me a refund. Now I feel guilty. I'm buying the rest of my retubing from them. At least I know what tubes to get.

Great Tube. Worth the price.
I bought this tube to replace the tube in my Tube Ultragain MC200. it’s the preamp I use for everything before my interface.Vocals and guitars sound wonderful through this guy. Clear with a nice light coloring and punch.Bass guitar, I would say is not this tubes strong suit. It’s thick and wonderful but maybe at sometimes the clarity or pop is missing with this tube.Doesn’t stop me from using it though. Overall it’s a complete upgrade over the standard tube and I love it.

Bad Microphonics in a Combo
These produce probably the best tone I could get from V1 of two different Marshall amps. Unfortunately, once the amps were cranked, they became forever microphonic. Both amps are combos and if I unplugged the internal speaker and plugged into an external cab, the microphonic was all but eliminated. There was still a slight presence but it was tolerable. Unfortunately, I need my combos to be combos, so it was out w/the GLs and in w/JJs. Still great tone w/the JJs but the tubes are much more durable and at almost half the price.

It's like a whole new amp!
I got a pair of these to replace the awful stock tubes in my Yaqin MC13S. The difference was night and day! It went from a "pretty good" P/P amp to "WOW!" I thought it might be a fluke or that maybe my ears just hadn't heard really good tubes, so I picked up a pair of RCA black plate NOS tubes on the auction site. I feel the Gold Lions are actually better, and I paid less for them than the RCA's. I don't know how they compare to something like $500 Mullard NOS, but my pockets aren't deep enough to find out. I've also used these as an upgrade to a Little Bear T11 phono preamp and, once again, the difference was outstanding. While I might play around with other tubes just to have fun, I'm fairly sure I'll keep coming back to the Gold Lions. Do note that you want to burn these in for 1-3 hours to get the absolute best sound from them, but they still sound VERY good right out of the box.
