Brilliant Stuff!
I bought this, but did not hold out much hopes for it, I really didn't think anything would be an improvement over the laser printer. How wrong I was!We all know how expensive a laser printer cartridge is and it doesn't go very far. This stuff seems expensive, but if you just cut a piece only slightly bigger than your die, foil it, run it through the cutter machine, mine is a Big Shot, it will, I think in the long run save a lot of money. I have ordered more as a standby. Results were much better than the laser printer. The card is quite substantial and handles well without getting scratched up. A very good investment to my mind.

Useful if you don't have/don't want to buy a toner printer
Well, I just wrote a massive review of this item but my iPad had a hissy fit and I'm not re-typing the whole thing (be very grateful). Two tips I'm going to share with you: 1. Use a card shim under the piece of card you're trying to foil. It applies more pressure and the foil therefore adheres more evenly. 2. Apply the foil to the toner paper BEFORE die cutting your shape. I know the instructions say die cut, then foil, but believe me, I tried that until I'd almost run out of foil and was getting seriously annoyed with the ragged edges I kept getting. Applying foil first = no ragged edges. Oh, if anyone is unfamiliar with this technique, you apply foil over the toner paper, then run it through a laminator. This product will not work without a laminator (or a Heidi Swapp Minc Machine). The foil sticks to the toner and won't come off, so it's good for a really smooth, professional looking finish, and you don't need special glue or any other kind of adhesive. The product does work pretty well but, to be honest, I think I'm going to try printing out a page of solid black ink and sneakily photocopying it at work (whilst on night shifts so the boss doesn't see me and tell me off) to get some homemade toner sheets. I'll see how that works out first before spending another fiver or so on what, is essentially, three (or possibly five) sheets of black A4 paper. I've attached a photo (sorry, lighting isn't great but it is foil) of a card I made using this stuff and hopefully, you can see that it is pretty even and smooth. On a final note, Jennifer McGuire (card maker extraordinaire) has a brilliant YouTube channel and she's done several videos with foiling hints and tricks. Definitely worth checking out. Oh, sorry, this really is the final note - I use Thermoweb Deco Foil but I would imagine other products would work in much the same way.

Really useful for foiling.
Expensive but, as seen on Youtube, so very effective and easy to use with foil and a laminator for papercraft. I have the self-adhesive type too but it is even more expensive so I decided to go for more product for my money. I'll use this for bigger pieces and save the sticky one for fiddly die cuts.

Works with machines & attaches to foils brilliantly and easily
Absolutely fabulous. The sheets went through both the die machine and the laminator with ease. The sheets attached to foil brilliantly easiest foiling process ever!!!!

passable but thin
this works with my foiling machine but the sheets are too thin for die cutting and needs to be stuck to another piece of card before die cutting and foiled
