Wonderful socks. I wish I’d bought wool based socks years ago. A game changer. I’ve now bought a second pack.

They are a good length and fit and fairly inexpensive, but since the title describes them as "thick & warm" I am dropping a star because they are not what I regard as particularly thick & warm as far as knitted wool socks go. I was hoping they would be more of a heavyweight winter walking sock that will keep my feet warm when the weather turns cold; these feel more like lightweight summer walking socks to me. To be clear, the socks are fine and I will wear them on warm days. I just feel a bit misled by the description. It's a shame Amazon doesn't give you a way to feel a rack full of different socks and judge for yourself how thick they are!

Great thick socks

I have used wool socks before, if they last as long as my hiking socks, they should give many years use.

These are a good fit and appear well made. I wouldn't say they were thick, but they are warm. I bought these to wear with my walking boots but found the boots rub my ankles as the socks are not thick. I now wear a normal pair of socks underneath and that solves the problem.

Very comfortable and value for money

Bought to keep my feet warm in the colder rooms in my house, work great.
