ScotchBlue Painter's Masking Tape - Advanced Delicate Surface – Blue Crepe Paper, 1 Roll, 24mm x 55m

I used this masking tape at various stages of a hobby build project of a Brian May Red Special guitar. This required the oak fretboard to be painted and I used Plasti-Kote gloss black aerosol based paint and masked off the bare mahogany wood of the main part of the neck with this blue 3M tape. I also used it when applying the delicate 0.6 mm thick marquetry veneer to the guitar body and to mask off the inner cavities of the guitar. I chose the delicate surface version to minimise the risk of ripping out parts of the wood grain. I'm pleased to say that this didn't happen so the tape did its job as advertised. I also used it again when fretting the guitar and when lacquering parts of the stained, unpainted surface.

The best low tack tape I have found, now a lilac colour not blue. Easy to tear and apply. It leaves a nice sharp edge to the paint. Removal is easy and does not damage the existing paint or wood work. Note that this is a 55m long roll of tape, not the usual 41m long roll sold by competitor brands. As usual Scotch 3M products are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and in my opinion good value for money. I will buy again

Very useful tape, hard to find in the shops for some reason! But glad I can get it on Amazon. I like it as it's easy to see, doesn't leave marks and goes the job the designed for. I've used it with acrylics, wax and watercolour and it's worked great each time.

I used this tape to stick a few posters on a wall with a fragile white paint. I just removed the posters after 3 years. There was no damage whatsoever to the underlying paint. There was no trace of it on the tape itself. It's as if the tape had never been there. I highly recommend this tape for the purposes of sticking (lightweight) things to walls without damaging the paint.

Great straight line finish. do not leave on wall for too long as can start to peel paint, best advice is to remove while paint is still damp. only apply to dry paint.

I'm using this tape to do a clean endge on my mixed-media paintings which are done on watercolour paper. It works wonderful. The edge is sharp, no paint goes under. The paint sticks well but doesn't tear paper when pulled off. Great product! Really recommend this for artists.

The best painters tape I have ever used; it doesn’t peel the paint off my walls and am especially impressed when using it while crafting (creating wooden signs, welcome signs, etc.). I simply rub the edge of the tape to ensure proper adhesion and it creates the sharpest, perfect paint lines every single time. It’s now the only painters take that I use!

Ein spitzen Produkt. Hab es mir für den Bau meines Kanus gekauft, da hier viel mit Epoxyd gearbeitet wird. Das Ban ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auch ist es auf Zug sehr reißfest. Wäre der Preis deutlich besser, würde ich noch viel mehr bei der täglichen Arbeit verarbeiten.

Prodotto arrivato come da indicazioni dell'ordine. E' un ottimo sistema per chi fa lavori e ha bisogno di schermare o tener fermo il disegno. E' forte, ma nel contempo non rovina i disegni togliendolo, non sembra rovinarsi e forse si può riposizionare. Lo consiglio perché ha una colla migliore che non quella dei rotoli di carta adesiva, che solitamente usavo, e che mi strappavano via il colore quando li toglievo.
