I have very sensitive skin and have tried A LOT of different moisturisers, serums, creams, masks - etc. I've also tried other HA and combined serums. I really like this one from Poppy Austin and have recently re-purchased my second bottle, for a number of reasons: 1) it's a lovely consistency to use without making a mess / wasting it - not too runny but not creamy or sticky and therefore very easily absorbed; 2) it smells nice - very subtle but for want of a better description it has a sort of 'comforting' scent without actually being 'fragranced'; 3) it leaves my skin feeling fresh, moisturised but with no residue - so also 4) a great base for makeup, if you wear it, and finally 5) it's fantastic value. It also seems to work fine either before or after other moisturisers so I've occasionally been using in the morning before adding sunscreen and in the evening before retinol, but most days I've just been using this now because I love how light it feels. I tried a couple of other brands recently and have always come back to this one. Love it, and it lasts ages - even when you use it like an addiction like I do! Great seller too. Will definitely try other products in this range.

Another Poppy Austin product that I adore! I use the cleanser, this serum and the retinol day and night anti wrinkle moisturiser daily, and my skin has never been better. The serum is quite runny, so a little goes a long way. The pipette is useful for dropping it onto problem areas, which for me are around the eyes and between my eyebrows. The serum sinks in and dries quickly leaving my face feeling taught and lovely and smooth. The main question is though, does it work? I can say that for me it definitely does. My fine lines have reduced remarkably and my skin in definitely plumper in my problem areas, I'm so glad I gave this serum a chance. One bottle lasts me approximately two months, when using it liberally twice a day, so it is in my opinion, well worth the price tag. With my skin being the best it's been in years, my wrinkles reduced and the fact that with this product is only made from natural ingredients, I can say that I am an extremely happy customer. On the 18th April I purchased the Hyaluronic Acid Serum along with the Retinol Cream for Day & Night as Poppy Austin advises to use both together for maximum effectiveness and this fits advice I had researched and read in magazines. I thought I would try this duo before embarking on a course of CACI Non-Surgical facials which I know are effective but a course is very expensive and I don't want to go down the filler route. I have always looked after my skin (though I love the sun) and had few lines until an illness last year and on my 62nd birthday it seemed I had suddenly aged and was feeling despondent. I religiously used some expensive products I had for Christmas but my skin still felt dehydrated and coarse, with open pores and lines getting worse despite a good routine as follows: cleanse, exfoliate, tone, eye gel and crème, serum, spf day cream or night cream, tinted SPF moisturiser. I have sensitive, combination skin and have to be careful that products do not trigger my psoriasis which can be hard to get rid of. I have been using both products incorporated into my usual routine since receipt both morning after my shower and at night before bed after cleansing and toning. So that is 5 weeks now on my face, neck and décolletage and I am just about to order my second serum so I estimate it lasts 6 weeks (just under 4p a day). The retinol cream being bigger will last a lot longer but I will order that again too. Obviously to reorder I am pleased with the products and the results. My skin is definitely tauter and hydrated and the fine lines which had started on my jawline have actually disappeared. My cheekbones catch the light and look glossy and smooth. People are saying I look well and have I been on holiday. No noticeable improvement round the eyes or frown lines but aging is a given and I am not expecting miracles though I plan to try the eye cream and the Vitamin C Cleanser as Vitamin C is missing from my routine and is hailed as essential for the synthesis and maintenance of collagen. Not quite 5 stars but they have yet to make that product.

I love this serum. It has definitely made a difference to my skin, which I’m always doubtful of when I read reviews on these sorts of things, but honestly it has made a difference. I use it once a day in the morning, and it absorbs in super quick and there’s no sticky residue or anything. So it’s great if your in a hurry with your skincare routine. There’s not much of a scent of it either. My skin definitely feels tighter, and less lines. I would highly recommend this product as I’ve been using it for quite a while now and can clearly see the difference. It lasts for ages as well and comes in a pretty, easy to use bottle, so if your having any doubts about this product, my opinion is that it’s definitely worth it! As other people have commented, the current formulation is VERY drying despite being advertised as "with Hyaluronic acid", possibly due to the high level of witch hazel. Unfortunately causes tightness and flakiness on my sensitive skin.On the plus side, I did indeed notice an overall improvement on appearance. I didn't have any redness or itching despite how dry my skin felt and I suffered no breakouts.Better suited to oily skinned people i'd say.

Never write a reviews usually for face products as they tend to mostly disappoint, but not this one.This is the face product I can not do with out or replace wirh anything else.I advise anyone to put this on your skin cate routine it's absolutely beautiful on the skin I promise you.

The product is light and fresh. It absorbs very well, and the scent is divine and natural. The skin is well moisturised, healthy, and glowing. It is a great first-step makeup routine for mature, dry skin.
