It's ok
I've used this on a few pairs of shoes, some that are open mesh fabric and some that are steel toe capped work boots and it works to repel water to a degree, you're not completely sealing the material off with a membrane like with goretex or anything like that. Don't use this on fabrics expecting them to be completely hydrophobic, it isn't a hydrophobic spray, it's a repellent, water will still ingress into the material given enough exposure and time. for the cost, how effective it is, it's acceptable at making my work boots not take on water and it works to help my trainers not make my toes soaking wet when i walk the dogs across some wet fields.

Dei prodotti spray provati a base di solventi più disparati questo è certamente il più comodo da usare, applicato sulle pedule durante la pulizia (se ne consiglia l'uso sulle scarpe ancora umide e deterse) costituisce una pellicola "gommosa" su tutta la superficie. (impercettibile quando asciutta) Consiglio due applicazioni intervallate da una necessaria asciugatura di circa 1 ora. L'applicazione di questo prodotto, come già detto, crea una pellicola che riveste i tessuti della scarpa impedendo l'ingresso dell'acqua lasciando però inalterata la funzione di traspirabilità delle membrane. Ricordo a tutti che le uniche calzature waterproof al 100% sono gli stivali di gomma dove non lasciano passare acqua e aria. Qualsiasi membrana, dalla più economica alla più evoluta gtx NECESSITA di un trattamento ed il prodotto che ho recensito costituisce secondo me la migliore soluzione!
