Delicate and simple
Good product for making your own soap, does not upset my skin at all, which is unusual for me. This was my 2nd block and I'll be ordering more.

Makes wonderful soap
I am a newbie at making soap and searched and researched the cold process and the melt and pour methods, deciding that although I would love to make the cold process, the cost and heath concerns about the ingredients made me look into the melt and pour soap bases. I decided to try the clear, white and organic soaps from Mystic moments and another brands version (also on amazon) But I have come back and have re-purchased the Organic soap (and the white and clear sls free melt and pour soap) The ingredients of Mystic Moments Organic melt and pour soap are very good, and I suffer from reactive eczema and have had no issues with holding or using the soaps, makes wonderful bars that anyone can use and is very quick at setting, although it does take a little time to melt on a low heat in a bowl on the hob (I do not like using a microwave) In the bain-marie method, I love the gentle soap I have made, and so far the essential oils I have used have created wonderful soap (Lavender organic essential oil, rosemary, eucalyptus, tea tree, patchouli, spearmint etc!) Try it, Mystic Moments soap comes with a very good instruction sheet of paper too, so if your a beginner like I was and am, you are not left wondering what to do!

Really good as a soap base or as soap by itself
After moving to London, I had issues with very dry skin all over my body. It took many tries of different soaps, shampoos and shower gels to find out that this soap base works best for me for hands, hair and body.Pros:+ great as a standalone soap+ doesn't seem to dry out my skin at all+ lathers rather well+ cleans well+ works great as a hand soap, a shampoo and a shower gel alternative+ reasonably priced (at this time, £7.50/kg)Cons:- a little difficult to melt on a hob - the temperature can't be too high or you can actually burn the soap if you stop stirring even for a short moment- toward the end of the bar, lathering abilities are reduced (but still cleans well)The only soaps that came close to this one was Waitrose pure glycerine soap (slightly harsher than the reviewed product), CARIA Pure Castile Olive Oil Soap Bar Traditional Village Turkish Natural Handmade Fragrance Free 150g and its Laurel oil sibling (40% Laurel oil, seems to have disappeared from Amazon).I've bought this soap base several times now. It lasts fairly well, it's consistently good and affects my skin positively, so I can see myself buying it again and again.

Gentle on the skin
It's gentle on the skin, very easy to use and ideal for novice soap experimenters!I have purchased various soap bases from the Stephenson's range and my favourite is the Glycerin Soap Base - it's like Pears' soap and is a good foamer. The Organic soap would be my second favourite due to the slight smell that it has prior to scents being added.

Not sure if it's usable
I'm new to soap making and was unsure if this was mold on the soap or how it had been stored before delivery, I don't think I will use it just incase, but it arrived on time.

Brilliant!
This is great stuff. I have made several different scented soaps and it sets quickly. I cut it melted it I added a bit of organic shea butter which needs to be re boiled after the first boil then whisk let it cool in the moulds if need be do again and re set but just before it fully sets press the top to keep a nice shape. I could waffle on and on sorry :) if u want tips message me and I'd be happy to let you know what I use and what I do

Great soap
Great soap base and it doesn't irritate sensitive skin. It melts easily and takes colour and fragrance very well. Worked well in silicone cake moulds and are very easy to remove. Just melt the soap base in 30 second bursts in the microwave, add colour (I used mica) and fragrance (I used a fragrance oil), pour into moulds and refrigerate until set. A spray of rubbing alcohol will remove bubbles but isn't essential. Once set then you must wrap your soaps in cling film or they may sweat. You can layer different colours, just make sure each layer has set before adding another and let the new layer soap cool a bit before adding or you may melt the previous layer. A spray of rubbing alcohol between layets helps the layers stick. Both the soap base and the finished soaps are great as presents or teacher's gifts too! Small muslin bags make them extra special presents, but keep the cling film layer.
