I purchased this inverter for my trip to New Zealand to use in my rented camper van. I wanted to rely on my own trusted charger for my laptop and camera. I haven't stress tested the inverter yet, but so far it works well for my main use of powering a laptop. I was expecting two USB A ports but instead there was one USB A and one USB C port, which was a nice surprise. The USB C Power Delivery gave 25W at around 10V and the ~230V AC socket worked fine too at around 60W. The waveform is a a 'modified sine wave' which means it's a square wave with some zero crossings stretched out (see picture) -- fine for my usage. The metal enclosure seems solid enough and I was glad to discover a small on/off rocker switch that I didn't see in the photos either.

Delivered ahead of time as usual by Amazon, in perfect condition too. The power inverter has a lead that plugs directly into your cigarette lighter and a separate lead to clip onto your battery. The only switch is to turn it on. It works on items such as laptops straight out of the box couldn't be simpler. Is very small and light weight and the noise from the fan is not distracting at all. Having had a chance to use it for long yet so I cannot comment on reliability but it seems solidly built so should last a long time. Excellent value for money and does the job so highly recommended.

I bought this so I could use my gaming laptop in my truck. For the most part it seemed ok, it will charge the laptop while off or idle but once you start doing anything demanding, it constantly shuts off then back on. Despite its rating at 300w it cannot keep up the demand for a 150w laptop charger.It’s noisy, inefficient and dangerous! The plug is not secure in the socket and can easily come loose. Not fit for purpose at all.

Excellent! It is quiet and kept me charged during an hour long TEAMS meeting when my battery was very low.

I bought this because my mobile phone is an older version and only has a 240V charging unit. This inverter fitted into my car 12V socket and I plugged in my mobile phone charger. The little switch clicks on neatly, a light shows the unit is active and a low hum from the cooling fan lets me know its on charging. No more problems for me on long journies with the risk of running low on mobile battery. I can also use a laptop in the car when needed.
