A real bargain, does the job well, reassuringly sturdy.
I've always disliked neck straps. Years ago I tried a hand strap but found it awkward when I needed both of my hands for something else. Prompted by chatting to a fellow photographer recently I thought I'd give one of these a try. All I knew was that he paid "about 7 quid" and bought it from Amazon so armed with that information I found this product.I mainly shoot with both Canon DSLR and Fuji X bodies. Today I shot using this strap for the first time and I happened to pop it on my X-Pro2. It's a real liberation. I just loath having a camera bouncing against my belly all the time and with this the camera was tucked away to one side at hip level. Easy to grab when I wanted it but out of the way and not bouncing around.I really can't find anything to complain about with the construction. Yes, today it was carrying my X-Pro2 but I've given it a quick try with my EOS 6D and 70-300L lens which is quite a lot larger and heavier and I don't have any reservations about the camera being securely held. The shoulder pad is nice and wide and doesn't slip around. I like the inclusion of a small pocket built into the shoulder pad and I found myself using this to hold SD cards today. The metal "eyelet" which hooks onto the camera is reassuringly sturdy and I like the way this can be moved up and down the length of the strap by using one of the plastic grips. Now that I've shot with it once I want to be able to use it with all my bodies. To this end I would like to be able to buy a few more of the bolts which screw into the tripod mount of your camera. If they are available to buy separately then I've not found them yet. However at this price I might just buy a few more straps! That way I'll have the bolts and some spare straps too.One of those rare products in the world of photography that does a great job and doesn't cost a bomb! Of course, some people might turn up their noses because it doesn't have "Canikon" plastered all over it, just a little yellow "Q" in rubber on the shoulder pad along with a fabric "Quickstrap" tab. Myself, I'm quite happy to be discrete.

Does the job well
This does the job I wanted it to - it suspends the camera securely in the cross-body position so that it hangs just below my hip. Because the strap attaches to the tripod bush, the top of the camera is free of irritating straps and all controls are easily accessible. There are two points which anybody purchasing one of these straps should bear in mind -1. Make sure you assemble the strap and buckle securely, and test it - the first time I tried mine, it wasn't secure and I nearly dropped an expensive DSLR!2. The whole thing is snug and comfortable when you are wearing it but the shoulder pad is large and takes up a lot of space in your bag.

One for the short people.
Pretty well made, fixings seem sturdy enough. Only problem is, even at a distinctly average height of 5'10, at it's longest length, this only comes just under my ribs. I think the models in the photos must be hobbits, as there is no way my camera sits on my hip as per the photo.

Unreliable at the most basic level
I really wanted to like this strap, but unfortunately it's a dismal failure on even the most basic level. The simple buckle that is meant to keep the strap in one piece is unfortunately not capable to holding the overlapping strap material together and so I've had the camera actually fall from my shoulder multiple times while using the strap. The material of the strap itself is too slippery, so it will slide through the buckle far too easily. I also find that the shoulder pad fall off my shoulder every single time I lift the camera up to take a picture. Highly disappointing.

Unreliable and suspect quality
At first I thought this was a good idea as would be a universal system. However. The small pocket zip broke with hardly any use.I don't consider this a safe system for your camera. My Nikon D7000 was sent flying as the attachment, which fits into your tripod socket, failed. I can only think that it became loose over a week or so when the camera moves around. For compact and bridge cameras this may be fine but I would not trust this with medium to large DSLRs.

Could be better
When it doesn't slip and come undone this product is perfect for the on-the-go photographer.Unfortunately, firstly the end of the strap frayed so I was forced to melt the threads together to stop this, secondly, although I use this all the time I now tie the strap in a knot to stop it sliding and coming undone. If it stayed put and didn't slide it would have earned five stars, but still good value and meets my requirements.

A good handy strap that works well and I use on ...
A good handy strap that works well and I use on trips out with my camera to save carrying by hand. (I find standard neck straps a pain as they get in the way) Reason for four stars is other reviews saying a bit flimsy and one breaking and damaging an expensive lens. I was a bit worried that the end had the potential to slip out of the locking clip, so set it to the length I wanted and stitched it together as a safe guard. I now have confidence in the strap which gives peace of mind, although I still tend to hold on to my camera while walking just in case.

Excellent Camera strap
Great product, beautifully finished and a very safe looking camera connector. It could be improved by having a slightly longer adjustable strap, especially if you are very tallHaving said that I would buy other without hesitation
