A perfect choice!
Very highly recommend this guitar! It arrived in perfect condition, in tune, and with the low action I prefer. It has a beautiful quality with a lovely sound— perfect for beginners, and for those who have owned other guitars like myself. The price is very reasonable indeed. Thank you, Yamaha!

Solid, warm, and easy to play—Yamaha F310 delivers full-size acoustic tone at a starter price.
🎸 Yamaha F310 Acoustic Guitar – Full Review The F310 is one of Yamaha’s most popular entry-level acoustics, known for its durability, playability, and warm tone. It features a traditional dreadnought body shape, offering full projection and balanced resonance—ideal for strumming, fingerpicking, or hybrid styles. 🔧 Build & Materials Top: Laminated spruce – bright, crisp tone with solid durability Back & Sides: Meranti – warm, balanced sound Neck: Nato (Eastern Mahogany) – sturdy and smooth Fretboard: Rosewood – comfortable feel and solid intonation Finish: Ultra-thin lacquer – protects against humidity and enhances tone response 🔊 Sound & Playability Tone: Well-balanced with bright highs and warm lows Projection: Surprisingly loud for its price point Action: Low and beginner-friendly Neck profile: Slim and comfortable—easy on the fingers for long sessions Tuning stability: Reliable hardware and solid intonation across the fretboard ✅ Pros Full-size dreadnought body—great projection and tone Comfortable neck—easy for beginners and casual players Durable build—holds up to regular use and travel Balanced sound—versatile across genres Affordable—typically around £120–£145 Trusted brand—Yamaha’s quality control is top-tier ❌ Cons Laminated top—less tonal maturity than solid wood No built-in electronics—strictly acoustic Basic tuners—not premium-grade No gig bag or accessories included (unless bundled) 🧠 Personal Verdict This guitar’s a proper starter workhorse. I’ve seen it used for practice, busking, and casual jam sessions, and it holds up—clear tone, solid feel, and easy to play. The build quality punches above its price, and the traditional body shape gives it a classic look and sound. For anyone looking to start strong or get back into playing, the F310 is a smart grab.

Yamaha F310 Acoustic Guitar: Unbelievable Crystal Sound
I gotta tell you about the Yamaha F310 acoustic guitar – it's nothing short of extraordinary, especially when it comes to that crystal-clear sound. Sound Quality (5/5): Let's get straight to it – the sound is out of this world. When I strum those steel strings, it's like magic. The tones are pure and crisp, making my music sound like it's coming straight from a professional studio. It's got that signature Yamaha quality written all over it. Playability (4.5/5): The F310 is so easy to play, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned guitarist. The action is just right, and it feels like an extension of your fingers. I can play for hours without my fingers feeling worn out. Durability (4/5): Yamaha knows how to build guitars that last, and the F310 is no exception. It's sturdy and can take a bit of a beating, which is perfect for someone like me who's always on the move. Affordability (5/5): Here's the kicker – you'd expect a guitar of this caliber to cost a small fortune, but it's surprisingly affordable. I couldn't believe I was getting this level of sound quality for the price. It's an absolute steal. In Conclusion: If you're on the hunt for an acoustic guitar that'll make your heart sing with its crystal-clear sound, the Yamaha F310 is the one. It's extraordinary in every sense – from the impeccable tones to the wallet-friendly price. Whether you're strumming by the campfire or jamming with friends, this guitar takes your music to a whole new level. It's a gem, no doubt about it.

Excellent value for money.
I've had it for a week and am loving it. I'm a beginner and it is just perfect. Easy to hold the strings down and glides beautifully as the back of the shaft is so smooth not that sticky varnished way I've played on before. My brother has been playing for over 40 years and says it's fantastic value. He compared it to his own Yamaha which cost quite a significant amount more and says mine is a far better guitar with great sonics. I am so happy with it. Well done Amazon.

A brilliant guitar for the money
Lovely resonant sound, nice low-ish action, with good intonation, a pleasure to play when it's in tune. The body doesn't feel particularly sturdy so slightly more care might be needed to avoid punching holes or cracks in it by knocking it into furniture or equipment. The polished body and fretboard seem fairly scratch resistant. This guitar is amazing value for money, great for beginners as it plays very well and they won't need to upgrade once they've learned the basics and more. The only issue is with the tuning accuracy, as the strings don't stay in tune as reliably as on some more expensive guitars.

REPLACED A CHEAPER GUITAR, WOW
I purchased this guitar looking to have another attempt at learning. A few years ago I tried to learn and just messed about on a cheap electric, recently having moving house, I got in touch with a friend who is a seasoned musician and lives around the corner. Thinking this would be enough to get me learning with some actual effort this time, I got a cheap acoustic guitar set i'm not gonna name it but it rhymes with "bartin bith". I thought that as he and his son played well they would encourage me, I thought cheap to begin with then upscale when/ if I keep it up... anyhoo, the one that came broke almost right away as I tried to change the strings due to poor sound, believe it or not this was not the cheapest model either as it came with chromatic tuner etc built in. I sent it back after a few weeks of messing around with the fret board getting my fingers used to strings etc. but I just could not get into it, much preferring my mates yamaha. I seen this guitar and saved the extra 20 bucks (£92 + p&p at time)knowing full well it was not a kit and just a guitar. I just downloaded one of many chromatic tuners for my mobile instead ( free and superb) the day it came i could really feel the build quality right out the box. when I started playing around with it it sounded amazing, crisp and a lovely tone. I took it around to my mates and he was very surprised with the guitar. Even when using stock strings it was beautiful. His yamaha was a far superior model and I will tell you this, and he agrees, this is an amazing guitar and the sound and build quality is almost identical. I was so amazed at the difference trying to learn on a cheap branded guitar and a good one like this makes. I can play chords now and I had progressed noticeably in under a week. If you are starting out or even getting this for a friend or family member who is, bypass the cheap alternatives, this is the real deal and worth the little extra. the % increase in £ is well worth the % increase in playability, progression and longevity this guitar will give. fast delivery and exactly as advertised! my plans of upgrading in a few month will not require to happen for some years if at all now! john
