05057434001 Bit-Check 30 Metal 1 General Bit Set (30-Piece)

This is a really well put together bit set. The bits themselves are excellent quality, but the holder is what really sells it. It comes with the adaptor for using them in a drill, which is genuinely useful, and the little holder is compact, sturdy, and easy to use. Everything stays put but is still easy to get to, which sounds minor but makes a big difference in practice. It just ticks all the boxes for the kind of things I like. Well designed, practical, and clearly made by people who actually use tools.

Tough bits that should last really well. The case is a masterpiece of simple design, would so easily fit a pocket or tool belt. Lots of folk have moaned that the bits are right in their holders, well good, they won't end up all over the floor if you drop it. Brilliant set 👍👍

Nice little kit, worth the money.

This is a nice set of Wera bits with a good range of different bits to cover most applications. Quality seems good although I noticed a few of my bits started to rust quickly even when stored dry in a toolbox in a garage

Cracking little bit selection, in a very convenient very case. I tend to grab it now when doing work, guaranteed to have all the bits I need for 95% of jobs. The bit holder is simple, decent quality, and Wera bits are excellent quality in my experience. Case itself is practical, with the top folding back to make a stand and the two rows of bits separating out. This allows you clearance to get your fingers either side of the bit for relatively easy extraction. If there's one slight criticism, it's the classic problem of all bit cases I've used to date. The bits are held every so slightly too tight. I personally would have preferred the bits to be held in slightly over sized pockets, rather than being gripped by the flexible pockets in this design. Of course, nothing is perfect, and easier to extract bits means a bigger mess when you drop it on the floor after opening, so you can't win them all....
