The media could not be loaded. This excavator is way better then I expected. My son been playing with it non stop since we got it. The remote is easy to use and all the functions work just like a real excavator. The lights and sounds make it even more fun. Battery last a good while too, wich is nice.As a mechanical engineer, I gotta say, I'm impressed with the design. The build quality is solid and the movements are smooth and realistic. I wasn't expecting this level of detail in a toy but they really did a great job. The arm, bucket and rotation all work just like a real excavator and it's got some decent power too. Even in loose dirt or small rocks, it handles pretty well. It's not just for show.If you got a kid who loves construction vehicles this is a must have. Heck even I have fun playing with it! Very fun toy, works well for a while. After about a month the motor gears started stripping and losing operation range. The toy fell over in the sand once and that basically destroyed it. Over all fun toy but it’s about the same quality as the other cheaper options.

It's important to remember that at this price point you're buying a "toy" not a heavy duty back yard excavator. I say that because the true hobbyist excavators cost in the thousands. This is very reasonably priced.All that being said, it's a great toy. Lots of fun and all of the functions seem to work well. You can definitely pick up moderate loads and move them around. The functionality is great. Realistic boom and bucket functions. It you really wanna have some fun, make sure to buy a dump truck to go with this excavator.

I bought this for my son. He love playing with constructions toys. This toys looks big, good quality and powerful. It has a lot of function which makes it easy play and learn. Comes with a charging battery which makes it convenient to use the same battery over and over.

The arm simply stopped working when I uncovered it, disappointment, the circuit burned, I can't stand playing it, it's only pretty on the outside, it has metal inside that makes it very heavy.
