Nice warm cap for hunting!

I wear a 7 1/8 hat and small scull cap...am bald...this ran too large for my taste. Good for very cold weather.

This cap far exceeds my expectations! Putting it on is like walking inside. I hunt 25 feet up in an oak in the middle of a marsh and the 16 MPH winds don't even bother it. BUY ONE NOW!

This hat is waterproof and extremely warm. I have been comfy in subzero temperatures wearing it. It comes a little small so keep that in mind.

The hat is nice I like the break up camo against the blaze orange it is warm and fits nice the only down side is the fabric is loud against your ears like a rubbing scratch noise I find my self lifting it up to listen carefully especially when out in the woods. It can’t keep ears warm if you need to wear it above the ears to cut down on the noise you are able to hear.

Let me start this review off by saying I am from Florida, heading to Arizona for a cold weather hunt. I bought this beanie type hat to deal with the expected temps.Morning temps for scouting and eventual hunting days were in the hi teens and up, some mornings with decent wind/breeze. At no time did my head feel cold, this hat coupled with the windproof balaclava and my hunting jackets hood. Worked great.In other reviews, some mentioned that this hat cut down on hearing ability in your immediate surroundings, yes it did, but in my particular situation was not a detriment. That reduction actually worked in my favor when it came time to pull the trigger, the report from my rifle was reduced enough to take the edge off the report. I made the shot and I believe this hat aided in my success on elk.I would recommend this for those looking for warm headgear for cool weather hunting.Steve Y.
