Garrett 1140360 EuroACE Metal Detector, Clear,Gold

Just started out detecting and after trying the same model decided to get one. Very pleased been using for over a year (don’t see the point of reviewing this type of thing unless you have used it a lot) and can honestly say very pleased! As you can see it does work, these are a small selection of the coins I have found and they range from the third century! The display is easy to understand, change and some of these coins were over 30cm down, the trick is learning the sounds and perseverance! Having a pinpointer is essential no matter what detector you have, my advice is this is definitely worth the money and a great starter unit but also good enough for me to continue using as I like the weight, as well as the balance when using it. To be honest I wouldn’t think I will spend a lot more getting a “better” detector as my brother has recently bought hisself a much more expensive unit but hasn’t found more than me!

This was the best price I could find at the time for an early Christmas present to myself. I noticed that, although other sellers were offering it slightly cheaper- they didn't come with all the accessories like this one does i.e.-Monitor cover, bag, batteries (pre-installed), dvd, book etc. And it came within 10 days.On the first few expeditions, (with permission of course!) I've found a few empty shot gun cartridges, an old WW2 Bullet and I'm quids in already with a whopping £1.23 in loose change!!!Oh and pre decimal penny!I'm a complete beginner and this was out the box, "COINS" selected, sensitivity in the middle and off we (me and my 7yr old son) went. Which he loves and I'm considering getting him a 150....we'll see!The Pinpoint button is a handy option and fairly accurate, I've noticed that when a signal really jumps about with different tones and hard to completely locate- then it's possibly trash of some kind - Aluminium ring pull, some foil of some kind - but what if it's a really old coin???? who truly knows?, so you dig it and that will come with experience I guess and collecting trash just comes with the territory I suppose?It's well worth the money and I'm really looking forward to going out again and finding that elusive coin...they say every field has one....and why shouldn't it have?I would strongly recommend a Pin pointer (GARRETT)- it makes the job SO much quicker/easier & will give you more success.Enjoy

I wanted to get a good detector, that was easy to use and cheap enough for newbie like me to see if I liked it. I looked at various sites and forums, and garrett machine was talked about a lot. So decided to go for this one...and all I can say it wasa good choice to have. Very easy to use, sounds are perfect to find finds. Very good machine and would suit new comers and experienced...only used it a few times and found various items including coins....and also a small silver hammered coin on a field used by quite a few detectorists useing the higher end priced machines. The garrett 350 euroace is a nice weight, easy to use and well built...so if you want a nice little machine this is a Defo to buy. I'm sure il be useing it for quite a while now...and if you are wanting to start this as a hobby, make sure you buy the garrett pro pointer..very handy bit of kit. The Garrett euroace does have a pin pointer, but the pro pointer makes it even easier to find things, even the smallest of metals...

To be fair, I have not used it. I bought it for someone else and the feedback is good. It is easy to use and provides fun and interest for a family with children of eight and six years old. This was gratifying as the (adult) user would not claim to be particularly gifted in the use of gadgets. It worked out-of-the-box and provided a reliable stream of objects for research and discussion. I do not know if it is good enough for someone with larger aspirations.

Well made, easy to assemble, air test on most metal coins 10 inches, easy to use and set up, some cool features, about the right price for a metal detector with the specWhat I liked is you get free headphones, free instructional DVD, a rucksack and book and a waterproof cover.It would have been a better detector if it had the number value on the display as some cheaper metal detectors have but you can’t have everything for a beginners detector.

It's simple to assemble, understand & navigate through the settings. It literally takes seconds to do. Pretty much switch on & go!It proforms well. With a easy to understand digital display. Supplied with waterproof coils. ( settings unit is not waterproof! )Great for beginners & for those on a tighter budget.

The other day I dug out my 1972 Fisher 1265-X and (surprise) found the batteries had corroded and eaten away the contacts. We live in a property built in 1420 (Suffolk) but the garden is covered by lawns and weed suppressant. I will now take out my new machine and dig up the lawn while my wife is away and blame moles when she returns. Living in the East of England I am hopeful one day of finding Boadicea's chariot wheel or suspender belt ! I read the reviews and the Garrett seems to be the best in its class. I am hopeless at putting things together, but surprisingly I had no problems. I was surprised that no change from my 1972 machine in that the wire still has to be coiled up the pole - why not inside the pole out of the way? The machine is quickly ready to go - also surprised the batteries are already installed (obviously they are not worried about leakage). I rushed outside with machine set to 'coins' and got several signals in the immaculate lawn (oh, dear). So all looks good and sounds good. The machine is lightweight and great to use. In the box is a waterproof see-through cover for the "controls" and a haversack. In 1972 I only remember finding ring-pulls and one half-crown (that dates me!). Enjoy and have good success (Remember to remove those batteries if you are not using for extended periods).

Después de algunos problema con garret 250 ke yegue a devolver dos detectores de metales por defecto pedí la garret euro un modelo superior y ya dio resultados en búsqueda. después de esos problemas sean portado estupendamente mean regalado algunos accesorios para el detector un dellaso satisfecho con Amazon y garret recomiendo la garret euro muy buen detector

E arrivato tutto il pacco era dal vicino .nella scatola c'è tutto ed è tutto funzionante . Mi scuso per la recensione precedente.mi scuso anche con il venditore che è stato molto cortese ed è stato lui a dirmi di chiedere hai vicini perché i coriere ogni tanto fanno così. Grazie e buon lavoro

Nachdem unsere Katze verschwunden war hat meine Frau jeden Busch durchsucht, der auf ca. 5000 qm steht. Leider hat sie dabei den Ehering verloren. Mir war sofort klar, das man den Ring nur mit dem Auge nicht wiederfinden kann. Darum habe ich den Euro Ace bestellt, der auch schnell geliefert wurde. Als Referenz habe den Euro Ace auf meinen Ehering eingestellt, sodass andere Gegenstände in der Erde ignoriert werden, sonst kommt schnell das Dauerpiepen. Letztlich habe ich den Ring versteckt in einem Mäuseloch wiedergefunden, nachdem ich ihn ausgebuddelt habe. Es ist unglaublich und wir können es selber kaum glauben. Die Freude war unendlich groß, da ein Ehering neben den monitären Wert einen ganz besonderen emotionalen Wert hat. Es wirklich ein Top Gerät und ich empfehle es sehr gerne weiter
