Most cars have a steering wheel trim painted with a rubberized paint which after time peels off after time and looks unsightly, then rather than pay a lot of money to replace the trim i found the idea on google to cover the trim with plastic sheet. 1. first remove all trim paint, (usually very easy rub it with steel wool lightly and it will come off leaving a good finish to take the plastic. The use of a little alcohol helps. 2. once clean and dry cut the plastic remove the backing and apply working outwards to remove air, once at the edges use a hair dryer to heat the plastic and mold around the edges to a neat finish. My car has been done for a while now with no peeling and looks good too.

Perfect to cover a tatty looking amplifier case

Arrived today and I was ready use it immediately, trickier than anticipated to use, it has a tendency to split when you cut it whilst fitting, then you have to start again with another piece. Plenty on the roll great value compared to other online offers that I have found, but not the same specification as motor vehicle manufacturers use, it's a little thinner but it sorted the job out on the third attempt!

Easy to apply, great finish. Highly recommended.

Pros: Prompt delivery. Easy to apply. Low price Cons: More of a sheen to the product than I had hoped. Also, the vinyl becomes more gloss once stretched. (My project required very little stretching so this wasn't much of an issue.) At the price, I may buy again depending on the project.

Used it to replace vinyl protective strip on a transit van. Worked beautifully, a gentle heat enable you to stretch it into awkward shapes. Great for the price.

I have used this to replace the black cover on the outside B pillar of my car and my daughters car. Easy to use and has very good adhesion. A great product at a good price!

Exactly as described and has worked perfect on exterior of my vehicle. Has been there for a good few weeks now and not damaged peeled or disclosured. Would recommend using a hair dryer or heat gun of need to wrap.round awkward edges but plenty of video tutorials out there. Definitely recommend
