We had a house full of visitors for Thanksgiving, so i ordered a case of these Stalkmarket plates . . . . they served the purpose and were fine for "dry" foods and desserts, but these plates did not hold up well enough for a plateful of turkey, gravy, potatoes, and hot veggies.No disasters, but i was embarrassed by sagging plates and will not reorder. Stalkmarket definitely does not measure up to Chinet or bamboo plates for durability. i will look for better.

My wife and I entertain often and we were looking for a product we could feel a little better about than the Chinet from the local store. These function very well for us. They are, in fact, 9 inches in diameter, but have a slight bowl to them so that the plate area comes down to about 6.5 inches in diameter. This makes them fine for light meals and general entertaining, but if you want to serve Thanksgiving dinner, a bit small. I have never worried that they would buckle. They are made from sugar cane and I couldn't resist tasting them. Although I'm sure it wouldn't affect the food, I could swear they tasted a little sweet. With a little sweet paste these things could . . . um . . . sorry.

I have always been into recycling and buying products from recycled materials. I have purchased napkins, toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. I never liked paper plates in general and was always searching for plastic plates which fit in my enviromental guidlines. I finally came across this product. This product allows me to be sensitive to the enviroment which not sacrificing quality I have become used to. This product will help us battle the landfill and pollution problems which plague our planet. it also take an byproduct and creates a markets for it thus creating new jobs in our country. Plus it helps on the war on terror by reducing our reliance on fossil fuels which the main source terror financing.

This product is made overseas, shipped to the US for distribution. The whole process is eliminates the reason i would buy this product. Carbon Footprint is everything when buying a green product!Plus I heard the work environment for factory workers is horrible and lets not forget lung disease for the factory workers from inhaling the fiber pulp.

We don't have a dishwasher and this is a life saver for our relationship. Now we have fewer dishes to do unless we use are fine dishware for guests.You can have anything on these from gravy to a juicy steak and we have not had to worry about the dish tearing or dripping.

I have been searching for sturdy 9-inch plates to fit into an under-the-cabinet holder I installed years ago. These fit and are easy to pull out one at a time. Plus, their green construction helps me to feel better about using paper products.

We love these! They are sturdy enough to hold Chinese food or spaghetti and light enough that my little kiddos can use them. No weird patterns or nasty glazes. We subscribe and save for them.

These are great recycled paper plates. Very heavy & durable. Love subscribe and save for this sort of consumable product. Note that they are not bright white, so they have a crafty look to them.
