At the outset let me say that I am a fan of MozArt art products. For quality and richness of pigments in their paints and pens they are difficult to beat. As for this sketch pad, the beautiful linen binding itself makes this a must have for any artist. This is my favourite sketch pad, I have had it for several weeks now, and while ill with viral infections have played around with various media, and had lots of fun. I have used stencils, pastels, oil pastels, gel pens and marker pens. Attached ar a few pictures to show how well they have combined with the smooth sheets. The size is perfect for relaxed sketching, and 80 sheets of velvet smooth paper is substantial. Did I mention how I love the linen binding?I thoroughly recommend this sketch pad, and have bought a second one - ostensibly for a gift, if I can part with it! Like all the MozArt products I have used, the quality is superb.

OK so I've been trying the Mozart watercolour pad for a couple of weeks now and I thought I'd share my thoughts.(as ever I bought it myself and no one's paying me for this I just want to share my findings with you)Firstly I bought mine in the UK directly from amazon for £11.99. It is a a4 hardbound watercolour journal with 50 pages of 220gsm hotpress paper. It also has an elastic band to hod the book closed. And it's in landscape format, though if you don't mind flipping up the pages it's OK for portrait pieces,.To be honest on seeing the price, the amount of pages and the size, I didn't have a lot of hope for this ad normally you pay here oh so much more for a few pages in a smaller format. But I must admit I've been really nicely surprised.The paint goes on nicely, lifts nicely and layers nicely, I can use masking tape around the perforation without ripping out the page when removing the tape. The paper is thick and smooth and takes quite a beating, only slight buckling to pages. The hard binding makes it a sturdy and nice book to use.Over all I'm very very impressed with it, as someone learning watercolour this is ideal as it's big enough but at the same time it's portable too.This is where I admit that I couldn't believe the post and by the third page had bought a second one just incase the price sores above my budget.I think for a everyday watercolour journal you will love this especially if your using it to practice and learn, I prefer it to the moleskin journals which are about my only other option in the UK and shopping from amazon.The only things I'd wish for is a slightly smaller version and portrait version.Over all its a great deal I'd snaffle one!

The sketch pad is pretty much exactly what I thought it would be. The cover looks nice and is stiff enough that you can put it into your bag without worrying about crinkled papers. The paper inside is medium stiff and feels like it's got decent quality in correlation to the pricing.My personal opinion is that it would have been a huge added bonus if the cover was primed so you'd have an option to paint it as a way of making it "your own" - But that's more a wish of mine rather than something I'd have expected from the sketch pad. Very pleased with my purchase.

Lovely watercolour pad at a very reasonable price, not actually painted in it yet, but it seems to be very well made, smooth HP 220gsm paper, and a tactile linen hard backed cover. I compared it to some of my other papers and its looks and feels very similar to a botanical water colour pad I have, which was twice the price with half the amount of sheets, think it would be great to use with watercolour pencils and brush pens, I'm a tad unsure if it would take very heavy washes or repeated layers or scrubbing, due to the weight of the paper, but up to now I'm pleased with it, I will update this review if, when I have tried it, it shows any major faults.

Having been looking for a book like this for sometime as i wish to fill it with watercolour painting for a present to a family member , i would like to know if you also thinking of making them with rough watercolour paper also , it is also a good way of storing your watercolours , and perhaps A3 also , just a thought , thank you so much for producing this

This is really not made for watercolour.The paper is smooth but really thin, it does not handle washes and can become bitty is erased on too much or too much water applied.As a sketchbook it’s okay, markers do go through very easily (but they do on most papers) and even ink brushes feather and split an awful lot so the lines look terrible. I’ll finish this sketchbook either way, but won’t be replacing it with another one.

A robust and well made sketching paper. Great to have a pad which is landscape in form so that one can paint a wide panorama with two pages open. I am pleased with my purchase.

This was the best value for money I could find at the time, but was frustrated to find it buckels still as it dries

Me ha gustado mucho la calidad de este papel para grandes aguadas. Absorbe muy bien.El tamaño no es muy grande ni muy pequeño, A4 vamos.El grosor está bien, no es mucho pero suficiente con 220 no traspasa así que está bien.Además el cuaderno en sí está bonito y la tira de goma para cerrarlo es un buen detalle.

Molto bello. É stato un regalo molto apprezzato dalla mia ragazza. Nonostante il prezzo i fogli sono di ottima qualità. Quello con la copertina blu è specifico per disegni con acquerello a differenza di quello bianco che è solo per disegnare. I fogli sono di dimensione A4 e una volta finito si possono anche staccare facilmente visto che hanno già il ritaglio.

He probado este cuaderno y me parece de buena calidad, con un precio muy competitivo frente a otras marcas. Las hojas tienen un gran gramaje(220grms) por lo que permite utilizar agudas por ambas caras del papel. El acabado es liso y para la utilización de plumas estilograficas o rotuladores calibrados es ideal. Las hojas tienen una microperforación pudiendo arrancarlas con cierta facilidad.Este formato apaisado me gusta mucho. Tiene una buena encuadernación. Tengo claro que repetiré la compra.

Das Papier ist leider von keiner guten Qualität.Bei Aquarell malen verwendet man verschieden Techniken. Bei der Nasstechnik mit sogar wenig Wasser Anwendung wellt sich das Papier sehr schnell.Korrekturen verträgt das Papier gar nicht, es löst sich ab.Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

Ein insgesamt praktisches Skizzenbuch in einem schönen Format.Das Papier ist recht griffig und dick und für alle trockenen Grafiktechniken geeignet. Bleistift, Graphit, Kohle, Pastell, Tusche und auch Filzstift lassen sich gut aufbringen. Weniger geeignet ist es für Nasstechniken.Mir persönlich gefällt der Einband weniger gut.Insgesamt ein brauchbares Buch zu einem fairen Preis

Ich war alles in allem zufrieden mit dem Aquarellblock. Der Umschlag ist schön, das Papier gerade dick genug, um sinnvoll Aquarellmalerei damit zu betreiben. Allerdings sind die Farben auf dem Papier - und ich habe mit teurerem Papier verglichen - matt und nicht gerade überzeugend. Dafür muss ich zwei Sterne abziehen, da dadurch meine durchaus hochwertigen Kuretake Farben nicht zur Geltung kommen!

Ich bin Anfänger u suchte ein Sketchbuch, das ich für alles nutzen kann, da ich mich noch ausprobiere. U es ist super, es funktioniert für Bleistifte, Buntstifte, Brushpens, Fineliner, Aquarell Farben, Aquarellstifte, Acrylfarben.... Natürlich gibt es für jedes einzelne der genannten noch spezielles Papier im Handel, wodurch das jeweilige Medium besser zur Geltung kommt, aber wer „eins für alles“ sucht wird hier fündig :) ich mag das Buch sehr!

Las hojas no parecen de 220 de gramaje, las compare con las de Mix Media de Canson de 200g y estas eran mas gruesas y duras que las de MozArt.... asi que no.... el gramaje pareciera mas bien de 180, las hojas son mucho mas blandas y ademas el papel no tiene textura que para mi gusto no funciona tan bien con acuarelas en si, si no para otras tecnicas.

Da ich eine Anfängerin bin, wollte ich mir solch einen Aquarellblock zum üben kaufen. Aber ich bin nicht so von der Qualität begeistert. Das ist eher für Kinderkritzelei vielleicht, oder aber für die jenige die schon so gut sind, dass es denen egal ist worauf und womit sie malen. Ich probiere nur Pinselstriche der neuen Pinsel aus, was anderes gelingt mir auf diesem Papier nicht.

Le papier est bien épais, rien à redire sur la couverture rigide et l'élastique, en revanche, à peine mouillé que le papier s'effiloche... Certes ça ne traverse pas la feuille, mais ça bave et bouloche me laissant penser que ce n'est absolument pas du papier aquarelle... Il va falloir que je trouve une autre utilisation à ce carnet, je suis énormément déçue par le produit. Je n'aurais pas dû me fier aux évaluations sur ce produit.

Album molto bello (io ho staccato i fogli e tenuto il cartone telato come cartellina). I fogli sono a strappo, non incollati, e questo conferma che non si tratti di una carta propriamente da acquerello, che pur supporta, senza però troppi passaggi di velature.

La entrega se realizó puntual. Cuaderno muy práctico con tamaño ideal para los primeros dibujos con acuarela de mi hija. Papel de muy buena calidad y las hojas se pueden arrancar. El diseño exterior es muy bonito con acabado lino. Muy satisfecha con la compra

Toller Malblock für alle, die gern zeichnen und alles in einer Mappe sammeln wollen. Sollte mal eine Zeichnung nicht so schön werden, kann das Blatt an der Perforierung abgetrennt werden. Lieferung schnell und zuverlässig. Würde ich wieder kaufen!

Ich nutze das Papier um Motive wasserfest zu stempeln und dann mit Wasserfarben das Motiv auszumalen und anschließend auszustanzen. Das klappt super. Da das Papier auch etwas dicker ist, lässt sich das Motiv dann auch noch super ausstanzen. Der Preis ist auch super (16€)
