Good value for money very strong and waterproof

Got the locks for my new shed good locks .

I wanted to replace the lock on my garden shed. I don't keep anything expensive in there so wasn't wanting to spend lots of money on a lock, but wanted a waterproof one as it is out in the elements. It's not waterproof, I bought is on the 11 Feb and on the 28 Mar I couldn't open it. Also the key isn't strong at all and bent. You do get too locks and two keys so I'm hoping my next trip some WD40 will help me to at least get into my shed. I know you get what you pay for and these are cheap, but how can you advertise you are waterproof (when not) and I would expect at least 6 months out of it, before becoming an issue, but for me to still get into my shed.

The two padlocks in the pack share the same keys, this isn't a problem for me, I'm not sure if they are supposed to be different, the rubber seal does not fit through the hole on my shed clasp and the small rubber seal keeps falling off, so bare this in mind, I will put plenty of 3in1 oil inside the locks just in case, it's just a case of removing the rubber seal when opening the shed, and not loosing it 😁

Lock quality on original inspection looked good and quite robust. The issue came with rain when the lock became rusty despite the key hole having a cover

Happy with these products, bought specially for our outdoor storage box as we have quite a damp climate. Works well and provides good security. Happy with keys, sturdiness, weight, design and size.

These locks look great and fully protected. I’ve only just put one outside, and it seems to be working well. They are a bit fiddly to unlock they need some WD40 or something to keep them working, I do this with all exterior locks to prevent them rusting on. I couldn’t get out my gate yesterday as the plastic protector had frozen on lol that says to me it’s working well. I will update this as time goes on if needs be. UPDATE! It’s not lasting well, it’s really hard to get the key in and doesn’t want to turn. I’ve lubricated it yet again but it’s a bit of a faff. I’m changing how many stars I gave them because it won’t last much longer
