Let's do this review in good Vs bad points.. Good points (great points!) 1. It's incredible at its job and there really is no need peel the garlic first! 2. It is incredibly easy to use! 3. It is incredibly easy to clean! 4. It's beautifully sleek and stylish! 5. It fits in the hand beautifully with good weight and feel. 6. It is strong and sturdy. 7. It's design makes for no pressure points on your hand while using the product. I could go on with a few more points but you get the jist... It's a great bit of kit that does the intended job and makes life easier while doing it. Bad points... Ummm... I have yet to find any so let the good times roll and all garlic be crushed out of its skin in style and ease! I guess it's a little pricey but using this just a handful of times has already made me want to buy the love heart one for a courser end product so that I have both.. This could be going a little too far as I am no chef but the garlic heart wants what the garlic heart wants.. am I right under-seasoned food?! Ciao!

After trying many garlic presses over the years, I have been delighted with both the simplicity and functionality of this - which makes it great value for money. It’s only 2 pieces which makes it very sturdy and feels good to hold. It’s got a decent capacity and crushes really well. Cleans brilliant in dishwasher Only lost a star as it can be a bit tricky to get the outlayer out after crushing but have found a teaspoon stops you from getting garlicky fingers!

Effective and very good to look at. The dishwasher gets them clean and they haven't faded or lost their shine. Well made and strong. Worth the extra money they cost over more standard options.

Great as no more peeling garlic

Before writing a review I wanted to actually try it out a few times and I gotta say that this actually works so well. Squishing garlic has never been any easier, you can fill it with more pieces than traditional ones, you don't need to peel the garlic and it will still do its job. Although not sharp the pressure applied by hand will mince out the pieces easily. It has a really nice design and the fact you can remove the pieces from eachother and split it in two to make scraping, cleaning and washing easier makes it so much more efficient. Grip of the handle is very ergonomic and the product feels nice and heavy and really sturdy. Definitely worth the price.

We had a garlic press in the family from the 70s that was legendary in its ability to press the clove fully, without leaving a squashed pad of garlic in the bottom of the press. My mum regretted giving it to me! Somehow it got lost in a house move. Both me and my parents have been searching for a worthy successor for 15 years. Sounds sad, but we've bought and tried many. Finally we found this! Weighty, easy to clean, great quality and crushes the cloves like a boss. I've enjoyed using this one so much I bought a second one for my parents, can't wait for them to try it too!
